[/QUOTE]Go for Angeles City for the whole trip only because the mongering is focused in a concentrated locale and the learning curve will easier to manage. Exchange maybe $200 US at the airport. You will need to consider transportation to AC and lodging before you get there. As for transportation spend the extra money to secure door to door service. I wouldn't spend more than 3500 pesos. Some hotels will help arrange that for you. (I have never spent more than 1500.) You are a newbie and your time resource is tight so resign yourself to spending more money in order to optimize your time getting your end wet. Go with a higher end Hotel nearer the epicenter of the "action. " Maybe the Orchid Inn. This is not what I do but I have been coming to The PI for over 20 years. Last time I was in AC back in March and I went into maybe one bar for thirty minutes. Burgos has a concentrated bar scene w / a few stand out bars like Bottoms and Kojax. Bottoms has happy hour pricing till 7 pm so BF is 2100 P and 3000 P for the dancer. After that it gets more expensive where the bars want 3500 P and the BG 3000 P, you can negotiate to 2700 P maybe. Kojax is my favorite and most nights they have talent you won't find in AC. Burgos is elementary mongering like AC and there are fewer women but better looking city girls.
AC is funky and dirty but a lot of fun and much less expensive. On Fields Ave the BF is 2500/3000 P all inclusive, tip the BG if she treats you good 300 P. In the day time the Perimeter bars start at noonish and cost 1500 to 2000 P all inclusive. I like the Perimeter BGs for 3 somes in the pool and room, bikinis cost $4.
Book a hotel (maybe 3 *Pacific Breeze) in AC and have them arrange a car from Makati to AC, the going rate is 2700 P. Taxis will do it for the same or less. So my advice is 2 nights in Makati (w / in walking distance to Burgos) and 6 nights in funky AC.

Andy, I'd fly into Manila for the night and stay on / near Burgos (Makati). Then up to Angeles for three or four stay at Orchid Inn. Then bus 1.5 hours over to Subic Bay for beach stay at Treasure Island for two nights. Then back to Angeles for a night or three hours back to Manila for a night. You will get laid by many cuties and see a little more of beautiful PI. After this trip you can plan one to Cebu and fly direct to Angeles avoiding Manila altogether (well except the airport of course. Have fun. Slight delay in posting from my last trip.
Day 1.
