Don't think you'd get into "trouble" but I wouldn't know for sure. My guess is they'll just send you to the back to solicit a bribe which is what they would've done anyway. In my experience, even with a printed and completed FMM you still need a valid passport if you're going through the Foreigners (USA and other non-Mexican Nationals) line. In the Foreigners line they still check both documents and then stamp one or both of them before letting you proceed into Mexico.

I think if you already have a stamped FMM from crossing into Mexico from the USA previously, crossing back over into the USA, and then try to get back into Mexico within the time period your FMM is good for, you can usually just go through the Mexican Nationals line, show them the stamped FMM, and they'll often waive you through without bothering to see your passport (think I've done this once a long while back with no issue). But even here they're checking to see that the FMM was stamped by a Mexican customs official. The FMM you're printing out from online and completing technically isn't good until it's reviewed and stamped by a Mexican customs official at the border.

I am thinking of coming down a spending 2 or 3 nights in Tijuana. I really only want to do the border crossing on e so I am thinking of staying right in the belly of the beast.

Any recommendations between Rizo de Oro or Cascadas. I am assuming women in the Zona Norte area will come back to either one.

Any other ideas?

Thanks.[/QUOTE]Rooms at Rizzo are not that bad. The only real advantage for Cascadas. A good chunk of alley SG's will go to Cascadas but will be hesitant to make the trek to Rizzo.

If you want tranquility and to sleep peacefully, then Rizo is better. If you want close access to party action and can handle chicas yelling Talachero! In the halls and stomping feet at all hours, then Cascadas. Different hotels with different vibes. Most guys who go to Zona Norte are there to party and don't mind the noise at Cascadas. If you do mind noise or need sleep, then Rizo.

Rizo is the quieter hotel, though I'm the type of person who can sleep through anything when I'm tired so the noise has never been an issue (and is actually not bad at Cascadas for most rooms). I've always stayed at Cascadas and am more than satisfied there. If you plan on coming back in the future would consider maybe staying one night at Cascadas and one night at Rizo and seeing which one you prefer so you can be better prepared for your next visit.

At Rizo ask for a room with the red lights. I didn't do this and didn't realize some of the rooms have this. The red lights just make the experience better I feel.

Only girls from the affiliated clubs (Hong Kong, Las Chavelas, and Tropical Bar) will go to those hotels. Adelita Bar girls only go to Coahuila, Chicago Club girls only go to Jalos, etc.

You can sometimes get a girl to go to another hotel before or after their shift, and some might go on their lunch / dinner break. But it won't be a usual thing and you should expect to have to look harder or pay more for a girl willing to do that.

All street girls standing by the hotel and across the hotel in the alley will go to Cascadas.

Beyond that street gals willing to come to Cascadas is hit or miss. I found about 50% are willing to go to Cascadas. Last time one gal had me pay 100 pesos to her hotel's manager in order for her to walk to my hotel. So, with an extra fee that 50% becomes 75%.

And HK club gals only go to Cascadas.

Thanks everyone for the great advice. I will probably choose Rizo since it seems a little less popular and would hopefully be a little quieter later in the evening.

Does anyone knows a good place to have a oil change for my car that it is not that far from HK?

How do the really cracked out ugly street girls make any money? There are dozens if not hundreds of street girls around zona Norte most of the time. I don't understand who is willing to pay a dime for those girls and I wonder what they're doing there. Can someone enlighten me?
