Gauguin Club Report - 1/27/2026 : Tuesday
Arrived at Gauguin Club shortly after 8:30 PM. As it was my first time here, I asked the workers a rundown on how things work. Luckily, a few of them spoke English which made things easier. Cover charge was 120 real, all consumable. Onsite rooms are 220 reals for one hour. The club has 3 floors. The first floor contains reception and the Main Club disco area, which opens at 9 PM. The second floor is where they have bands / singers perform, and is where the smoking area is located. And the last floor contains the on-site rooms.
Reception asked me for ID, I gave them my driver's license, they gave me a paper wristband with ID #. When ordering food / drinks, the waiters will ask for your ID #, which is how they keep track of your total consumption. Because it was not yet 9 PM, I headed upstairs to the second floor. There was a band playing, around 30-40 girls, and maybe 10-15 guys. I got a caipirinha at the bar, and sat down at a table and took in the scene. My plan was to take things slow and scope out the talent, rather than go with a girl right away. As well, I wanted to control my drinking as I have a tendency to make unwise financial decisions when under the influence.
There were 3 girls that caught my attention, but wanted to wait until the main area downstairs opened up before making any moves. Interestingly, I thought the female singer who was performing was very attractive. If she worked at Gauguin, I would have interviewed her. Most of the girls were just sitting around, there were a few that were talking to guys. I noticed that I was overdressed compared to most of the guys there who were wearing t shirt, jeans, and casual sneakers.
At 9:15, I finished my caipirinha and headed downstairs to the main club area. It has a disco club type atmosphere, with a DJ playing music, and fish tanks behind the bar area. I saw what appeared to be a small shark in one of the fish tanks. As board member Steve 9696 has mentioned, the music was loud. I noticed a bunch of girls who I did not see upstairs before. The number of girls I wanted to interview went from 3 to over 5. I can speak beginner Portuguese, but it was hard to hear over the music, so I ended up using Google Translate for 95% of my conversations that night, even for sentences I knew. I ordered a second caipirinha and took in the scene.
I was approached by a handful of girls, but none were the ones that originally caught my attention. Nonetheless, I entertained them. All the girls I asked quoted me a price of 1000 reals to go upstairs, with the exception of one girl who wanted an extra 500 for BBBJ. I did a double take as I was not sure I heard her correctly.
Eventually, I approached one of the girls on my radar. I noticed her when I ordered my first drink. She was sitting at a table with a friend. I was trying to wait until her friend left before going up to her, but that didn't happen. So I just went up and introduced myself. Her name was Jade, she is a Morena and is 24 years old. Zero English. She has a girl next door look to her and was wearing a green dress that covered her stomach. She had a few visible tattoos. I invited her upstairs for a drink where it was quieter and we could have some more privacy, as her friend was there the whole time we were talking.
Jade ordered a watermelon gin, which arrived in a huge fishbowl. It was twice the size of my caipirinha. She claimed it was her first day working at the club. I did not believe her as I have heard that line many times before, but I went along with it. I inquired about going upstairs and she quoted me 1000 real but was open to negotiation. I don't like to negotiate back and forth as I feel it kills the vibe, so I countered with 800 real, to which she said ok. She asked for payment upfront. I asked if it was ok I pay at the end, she was hesitant at first but after a minute she said ok. Ironing out the details, I made sure the price included BBBJ and GFE, to which she said yes. She wanted to go up now, but I said I needed a few minutes to mentally prepare myself. So I set a timer on my phone for 5 minutes. I excused myself to the bathroom, came back, and when the timer was up, we took the elevator upstairs.
One thing I found interesting is unlike Scandallo, at Gauguin you pay for the room before you enter, rather than afterwards. The room was basic but clean. It had a bed and tablet that could play music and change the color of the lighting in the room. There was an adjoining bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower. Included were towels, bar soap, and two condoms.
The session was overall good. We started off in the shower together. I was originally a little concerned because the dress she was wearing covered her entire torso, but her body was nice. Amazing bikini tan lines, natural be cups, huge nipples. After drying off, we went to the bed and started the real fun. She started off with BBBJ and light BLS, then I returned the favor with FIV and DATY. Put on the condom and started in Quattro, which she said was her favorite position. I thrusted a few too many times as I passed the point of no return and finished inside the condom. My first session of a trip always seems to end in me finishing a lot earlier than I want. Took a shower again together, and spent the rest of the time cuddling in bed and talking. We exchanged contact info for a potential future meetup.
It had been a while since I had eaten (excluding DATY, kkk), so I decided to order some food at the bar. Chicken with fries, farofa, and a side salad, Guarana Antarctica as a drink. The food was mediocre, but I just wanted some food in my system. While I was eating, I was approached by this girl who was originally on my radar. I invited her to sit next to me. Her name is Camila, and she is 21 years old. Long dark brown hair, sleeve of tattoos on her right arm. She was persistent in trying to get me to session with her, even after telling her I had just sessioned 10 minutes ago. At one point, she started spoon feeding me in an attempt to get me to eat faster so we could go up. She even offered me a discounted price of 700 reals to go up right then and there. I politely declined multiple times, telling her I would if I didn't go up already. I exchanged contact info with her and told her I would message her.
After finishing my food, it was almost 1 AM and I was tired so decided to head back to my hotel instead of going to Bomboa, which was my original plan. I headed downstairs to reception to pay my bill, which ended up being 310 reals, which I paid in cash. The doorman smiled at me and said "ate amanha" (until tomorrow) as I left.
Total Damage: 310 consumption + 800 girl + 220 room = 1330.
Final thoughts:
I was debating whether to go to Cafe Photo, Gauguin, or Bomboa. Based on the input from board members SocratesNY and The Cane, I decided to not go to Cafe Photo and instead go to Gauguin. I think I made the right decision. My original plan was to go to both Gauguin and Bomboa, but that did not happen as I spent more time than expected there.
Overall, I had a great time at Gauguin Club. At peak time, after 10 pm, there were 50-60 girls. Quality of girls I thought was good, as was the variety available. Gauguin is not Scandallo, but it is a good alternative if you are looking for a less overwhelming boate experience. I would definitely return.
Centro's an awful neighborhood but prefer it here
I had a tendency to reserve hotel rooms and AirBnbs in Moema, Vila Olympia, and Itaim Bibi.
During a prior trip, had to extend my stay--out of laziness, decided on a property closer to the airport.
The neighborhood is awful. Unless, accounting for the increased likelihood of scoring crack. I escorted a girl staying with me to a gym while I would visit markets for dinner. She diverted us away from a stairwell that would have been our direct route warning, those are the most dangerous areas in Sao Paulo. I don't know, I've been to parking lots near asian markets filled with Korean moms operating SUVs with a death wish but whatever.
The areas west are loud. Moema and Itaim Bibi, the airplanes. Vila Olympia adds active helipads.
Here, it's quiet. Oddly, Internet has been superior. Plus, amenity requirements are covered including hot tub.

My point being, I recommend looking into seemingly disastrous neighborhoods provided the building is adequate with security provisions, staff, cameras, facial recognition. You'll uber everywhere anyway and it's quite comfortable and quiet.
