I have discussed these in my early years in this site, but since the topic is rising again; I though of refreshing the content. What I understand is that there are mongering zones in Colombo. Colombo 03,04 and Borella are the luxury zones. Even a basic HJ will cost you 1 k or more. Also this is the worst place a rookie to start. 9 out of 10 times you will be ripped off. Suburbs of Colombo is the best place to find a gem, obviously you have to do some search with trial and error.

Also from my experience what I can say is that NEVER commit to a service provider who jumps to prices immediately or less than 20 minutes to the message. You will regret the decision 10/10 times. Just say no to extras and ask them to message for the whole 01 hour. At least you got a decent message.

Finally, I was insisting on ISG members to create a rating system which will guide the others to make wiser decisions and all these incidents are supporting my idea. Many argued that such will give a filed day for the police, but they do raid them with or without us. On the other hand there is no correlation on the quality of the service they provide and the likelyness of a raid. Most of the time they raid the known and public places or places which anyway gives a shitty service.

I visited this place last week. Same story. Demanded 1,000 for a HJ with no access but I settled for Rs. 500/- which turned out to be mechanical. Won't recommend this to anyone. It's opposite the old House of fashion.

If so, I am not surprised that service is bad, because it is managed by the same people who do the spa attached to the hotel on W. A. Silva Mawatha, Wellawatte.

As a general rule, Nugegoda and Maharagama are places I avoid as my personal feeling is that they get raided often.
