I'm sorry to be more of a taker than a giver here at this point but have a lot of intel to gather before my first visit.
Is there a general rule of thumb for a ST clock limit? Would an hour or two at my hotel room be considered ST?
Would love to bag one of those promo girls you see in front of the clubs. Any positive experiences to report with them?

Cheers.[/QUOTE]ST is generally an hour or two. The time it takes to get off once. The best looking tout girl I had was on Walking St. She was at least a 9 who was from Bangkok. Said she was too shy to dance and asked if I would buy her friend (sister) a drink. The friend was a 6 so I asked her would the 2 of them barfine together? After a huddle they agreed. Had a real nice workout with the 9 back in the room.

Have been down a couple times lately. It's crowded, the traffic is awful, and the selection of gals is not at all what it used to be, and the tourist demographic leaves a lot to be desired. A decade ago Pattaya was charmingly sleazy; now it's just ugly.

But not devoid of rationality and logic. Age, looks and my database of experience and analytics shows that 6's, 7's and infrequently low 8's are the sweet spot. For me!!

I think the reason why not too many 8/10 anymore is because the average of tourists has changed in the last 15 years.
Indians, Arabs have replaced Europeans-american farangs in South Pattaya. These people love fatty girls.
Asian tourists (Koreans, HKs, Japanese, etc.) prefer going to those big sex buildings up to the north Pattaya (Big Eyes, Climax) where most of the girls are white and skinny. These places are kind of strip tease show where you can call the girl after her performance who will hand-blow job you in some private room for 5000 baht up. You can also chat with the girl and arrange an appointment for ST but I guess the cost will be quite expensive.
Another reason could be the increase of people supporting the girls from abroad. This horrible practice seems to be the norm now. I know girls receiving 30.000 to 50.000 baht monthly who actually don't care to get farangs in Discotheque like it was years ago in Marine Disco. If you go to Insomnia (especially week-end) you're going to find a lot of beauties already supported by someone who's not even there. They won't go with an over 50 like me, they will choose the young good looking farang who's going to pay them a couple of thousands or just a drink or sometime nothing.

Hollywood is way better talent-wise than Levels, which I would actually put behind Ibar / Insomnia. To be honest I was not overly impressed with Levels at all. I thought the girls at Mixx were hotter. But they were asking outrageous prices. And I'd also put Mixx behind Ibar.
Hollywood is the creme de la creme! I look forward to trying it out next trip.
Nevertheless, I don't think its for everyone. The setup is more of an Asian club. Lots of tables and that is where most of the action is. Not much of a dance floor. I don't think my man Haven would really like it as it wouldn't really give him the space to unleash the canned heat that he has hiding in those heels of his. 555.

The losers are the guys, both the stupid ones sending money from abroad, and the ones actually in Pattaya. The only winners are the ladies.
I have met so many ladies who happily receives a paycheck every month from abroad without doing nothing. Not only from one guy, but from multiple guys.
It happend to me several times when laying in my bed, after I have Fxxxed a lady, she tells me to keep quiet because she needs to call / receive a call from the (cheated, stupid) moneysending "boyfriend" abroad. After telling him she loves him, she is at home in her bed and that she feel tired and need to sleep, she turnes to me and asks me to fxxk her again.
In the morning the gets up early to go to the bank or western union to pick up the latest paycheck from any of the cheated "boyfriends".
What she tells me about them? She thinks they are stupid to send her money for nothing, "but good for me" as they use to say.
I even met several ladies who receives paychecks from guys abroad who they have never met and have no intention to ever meet. The guys have just found them on Facebook or other social media, started to talk to the lady and started to send money. Whoooaaa!
The lady thinks he is realy stupid to send money for nothing "but good for me, I get money for nothing". She will keep taking the money as long as it last.
Before the guy arrives to Thailand the lady makes sure they have a fight and finish with him. Lady gone. Money gone!
The results: A loser guy abroad, a happy lady, and the guys actually in Thailand are also losers because the ladies are not that keen to go to bed with guys since she already receives paychecks from abroad without doing nothing.
In the end, it also bites the stupid money-sending guys in the as, becuase when they actually arrives to Thailand, they will also find out that some ladies are not that keen to go to bed anymore because they get paychecks from other stupid guys abroad!

It is spot on and you echo the sentiments of most of us "long-term" residents. One of the reasons for moving here almost 17 years ago now was seeing all the old dudes with the hottest gals. That was certainly the case back in '99. Be it Cowboy, Nana, Pattaya, et al, it was the over 50's who had the hotties. Boy have times changed.

[/QUOTE]For the sex part ST is usually 1-2+ hours. If you take them to dinner or a disco first before boom boom, then usually 3-4 hours ST with the same 1-2+ hour sex limit. If they like your company and you're in a nice place believe me that ST can turn into a VERY LT.
Trust me when you walk into one of the main clubs I have listed in the past, you won't even remember there was a coyote girl out front. Just buy your gogo girl 1-2 drinks hang out in the bar with them 20-30 minutes and decide if you want ST with her or move on.

The money they sent don't go to the family, money goes to Thai boyfriends, cards, alcohol, ya-baa (extasy-ice), etc. Etc. Engaging a "serious" relationship with these girls is like playing a Russian roulette. Money will be the only subject in the relationship. The more you give the less respect you have back. Pattaya is not a place to fall in love.
If any young good looking fellow is reading, be careful. When a girl decides to get no money from a youngster she's playing a game. It's a strategy. Nothing to do with love.
First of all, she can do that because she has probably some hidden "sponsor" , or she's working is some places like Climax, Big Eyes or Body Massage in North Pattaya. And she does it for 2 reasons:
1) She needs to show her friends she's able to get a young looking fellow,(90% of what these girls do is about showing and earning respect from their community, like flying abroad and put the pictures on Facebook).
2) She needs the guy to fall in love, and once it does happen, she'll start to eat him alive.
Can you imagine a young guy with no monger experience who's going to met a girl staying with him for free, sometime paying for him accommodation, food, and air ticket too. She will let him feel like a kind of Casanova-gigolo'. And once the guy let her come to his country to meet mom and dad, damage is already done, it means she has finally taken control of the situation.
