Can you dig it? Come out and play Warriors
Pattaya lots of fun for the mongering man.
In my opinion the only place left to monger properly in Thailand.
Fun facts and lessons learned hard way.
-Be playful and blunt. Don't let them tell you what they are going to do you are 1 customer.
-Negotiate and like Dave Chappell would say keeping it real. Whatever they say shot halfway and budge little bit.
-Lady drink what the Fudge. They do add up focus young and older Jedi they add up be firm easy to be a sucker.
-Massage girls. Hidden gold in my opinion because 700 will get you all day that's it.
-Take it easy. Americans like me always in a rush and it will drive you bonkers of how people just walk and stop.
-Get your shots. Come prepared no reason to be bat shit sick or under the weather on a holiday.
-Plan things out. Soi 6 great day time fun and walking street 10 pm.
- Plan to spend cash Thailand has gone up because I heard there selling Golden Royal Pussy.
-Watch out Watch out Watch out- Police not to be trusted at all. Was leaving a Venue one night and saw the cops shaking people down I speak multi languages and play stupid with a smile never ever yell or flex.
-Watch out Watch out Watch out- Mafia is plan in sight they are watching don't be a easy mark can't handle your booze so don't drink, plan your route, eye contact will keep you safe.
-Watch out Watch out Watch out- Kids are pick-pocketing stupid people. Cargo pant lame duck look but nice for the pockets can hide money in the best way.
-Watch out Watch out Watch out- Them Damn Warriors have fun keep safe cheers.
The Week in Pattaya; Sept. 3 - 11
Spent the week in Pattaya at LK Empress on Beach Road and Soi 12; very nice hotel, nice view of the bay and very guest friendly. Arrived in BKK at 9:30 pm,. Met up with The Limo Pattaya (1200 baht) as we do every year at the appointed time and place. As we approached Pattaya, the limo driver pointed out the increased police presence with checkpoints set up as we entered Pattaya. We hit the familiar haunts; Walking Street, LK Metro, Soi 6, Soi 7 and 8. This being "low season", it was the slowest I've seen in my six consecutive years. The quality in the bars tended to be low as well. Since we have traveled to Pattaya during the same time in September every year, it was very surprising. Soi 6 was especially disappointing, though I may not have had the preferred buzz to be fun enough. WS was rife with tours, but it's always nice to sit and watch those walking by. We tried the new Hooters (new to us anyway); pricey, but clean and a fun place to eat and watch sports. The Pattaya Beer Garden is always a good location for a wide-ranging menu and view of the bay. While this is also the rainy season, we only had one 10 minute shower in the entire 8-day trip. Baccara again provided the best looking go-go girls to gawk at; they're also very playful upstairs in the schoolgirls outfits. Did not take anyone, but a few years ago the BF was 700 baht and I took a girl at closing time (preferred). The exchange rate was quite good; 34.40 to 34.46 to the US dollar. They accepted our US passport "card" and none of the exchanges asked us to produce the actual passport. Our preference is beer bars, which will stay open as long as you're buying. We stayed in one bar outside WS on Beach Road until sun-up. We went into our first "disco: the one with the red car on the wall, just inside WS. Security was holding up a sign for 200 baht, I assume as a cover, but when they saw we were Gringos, they waived any charge. The majority of girls inside appeared to be FLs and we immediately made contact with two Thai "sisters" and partied with them for a while. Plenty of FLs along Beach Road (aka, the Coconut bar), some were doable, though that's not my thing. Actually met up with a few contacts I met through Thai-Friendly. Getting in and out of the BKK airport was short and sweet. Enjoy!
