It is a well known fact that no cooking or food preparation as such takes place within the premesis of Palace. The food is out-sourced to an exterior catering firm, who deliver a full spread to Palace just before 18.00 and 22.00 every night. If you are accusing anybody of "dealing bad stuff", then you mean the firm "Zum somthing-or-other" , not the Palace management themselves.

By the way, I am pretty sure in speculating that Hessen Bub is NOT a member of the Palace Management.

But now that you mention it: I don't ever seem to recall observing any of the mangement actually eating the food they serve...hmmmmmmmm...

Oh, and btw: did you ever consider that maybe you had some kind of delayed post-travel bug, picked up from the bacteria laden airplane that you presumably flew into the night before? Just a thought, that if you had travelled on an airplane within 24 hour sof your Palace experience, maybe it wasn't just the food. Anyway, I never trust the food or my own reaction to it after extended travel, so I usually never tuck into any of the buffets at the FKKs. Just a measure of precaution in general.

When there is something wrong with the electronics in my Mercedes ... I don't blame Siemens ... I blame Mercedes. The FKK Palace is responsible with the food they serve on their own premices, even if it comes from an outside caterer.
I think that my sickness was directly related to the FKK food, because I started to have violent belly aches 15 to 30 minutes after eating some of their liquid homemade yoghurts served in plastic tupperware cans.

@Bimbo Boy: I am surely not a member of the Palace management. Food does get delivered by some restaurant in hot cars, temperature is taken by a lady when put into the buffet. I do know a little about food safety, and if there's nobody else infected it might have been something you ate before or maybe it wasn't poisened but your stomach just couldn't deal with it.

That was all I said: Be carefull about accusing somebody serving poisened food, it is a serious subject and if there's no proof ...?!

Did you tell anybody at the reception? I'm not sure, but I think they are taking samples of the food served as well and these could have been tested. And yes, management is eating there too. Maybe the food is not five star, but in about 150 visits never caused any problems to me.

So stop "yelling" at me.

I think it's time to put an end to this discussion.

There will be no proof because no one is willing to launch a full scale investigation. However, food poisoning can have so serious consequences, that any alert should be taken VERY seriously and not dismissed lightly.

I am just stating facts here for the benefit of the community. I think that people here should be warned of the potential benefits and dangers of attending FKK Palace. I am not on a crusade to disparage them, because my report was overall excellent for them.

I visited Oase when the pool was not open to visitors and have not yet visited Palace. So any advice where to go. I plan to go on 12 or 13 June.

Yes, she is (like many other Romanians at Palace) also from Sibiu/Hermannstadt. I will post it here, when she's back. She keeps coming and going on a very unregular basis.

One added note on food poisening: There are many kinds, of course, but the most common bacterial contaminations don't make you hurl after only 15 minutes. Usually, they take several hours to notice. (I speak form experience, having had food poisening in Mexico, Brazil, China, Thailand, Australia, France [a three star restaurant!], Germany, Egypt, and the US - I gotta stop eating in low-rent dives!) I am not saying it can't happen on such a short turnaround time, but it's rare. Plus, chances are that several people in the Palace would have tossed their cookies within a very short time period, and this would have been noticed. "I am not a doctor, but I play one on TV" ;)

A very worthwhile comparison in Bimbo Boy's report got overlooked: FKK vs. Brazilian termas. I completely agree with BB in that the usual business model at an FKK is that the relationship is only there while you are in the building, and it usually even ends as you pay her. At a terma it often happens that the girl latches on to you, comes along club-hopping after the terma closes, and usually ends up spending the night in your hotel, often even without charge. Of course, the downside is that occasionally it is hard to get rid of the girls in Brazil ;)

Well if the pool is open Oase all the way. If the weather is good, go to Oase, because the pool will likely be open. If not, I have found the girls friendlier and generally better at Oase than the Palace. The Palace is too much of a tourist attraction.

She was there yesterday. According to posts in other forums she has been working at the Freude39 in Bochum and in the Laufhaus "Eierberg" in Bochum. No reports on her service at Palace available.
