Wow, that's one of those questions that has an endless answer depending on your intentions / likes / etc. I'll keep it simple.

I would say AC is better since there are so many bars and prices are low.

Cebu is nice because there are so many other things to do...and you can meet regular woman...and still do p4p if you need to. There are a limited number of bars and if you visit regularly like I do, you start to see the same women -- which has its pros and cons.

I'm currently in Angeles right now for my first time and about to go out soon, so soon I can have my own personal experience of Angeles. When I drove through Angeles today it really did seem like there is nothing else to do besides bars/girls and maybe a mall.

I know Cambodia was at least half the price for girls and hotels. Cambodia really is a lot less developed than the PI , and many girls don't speak any english, but a lot of fun can be had for less than half the price of Angeles.

Fly the bus has improved lately but they were really bad for a while. I think they now have one new bus and one old one. For the first time visitor my opinion of he easiest thing to do is to arrange a driver to pick you up at he airport. I personally use margarita if I arrange for a car. It should be about 2200p to 2500p range. Its easier to arrange the bus trip back to Manila from AC. There is a free shuttle to the airport from Swagman hotel in Manila (where the bus stops). Trying to get from the airport to swagman hotel sucks if re driver doesn't know where it is, and many don't.

Gagoo: how long since you were in Cambodia? A good friend is there this week and he has been going for more than a decade. He says pricing is worse than ever with ST AT LEAST $15-20 (was $5 as recently as 2 to 3 years ago). In some places, including Martini's, they wanted $40 for ST!

In Angeles ST should be between 600 and 700Pesos, less than $20 and nowhere near "double" the cost in Cambodia. I agree it is not the cheapest place in the World, but neither is Cambodia any more.

PP is much more developed and "safe" nowadays, but a LOT less fun. MANY guys who live in Thailand who used to go to Cambodia for a change of pace now go to Angeles instead.

Thanks for the update. If the taxi doesn't know Swagman Hotel, a newbie might say "Ermita church". That would get you pretty close -- or better yet download directions from their web site.I can't find any alternative bus service in my files, so maybe I was thinking of the Margarita service which was mentioned earlier.

Hi Tulip, I didn't see anyone respond so I just throw in a few words. AC & Cebu are both great places to monger but for very different reasons. Both have an international airport.

AC is one big collection of bars. if you are on limited time or keen to get your rocks off quickly this is the place. It is cheap & the number of P4P girls is big. Many (most?) girls in AC bareback. I mention it only so you can make an informed choice. There are SW's there and it is possible to find FL's/amatuers also. AC has little else to offer. There is a beach resort area not far away by expressway at Subic. There are P4P bars there also.

Cebu has less P4P bars, some quite expensive that cater to east asian clients, other P4P bars there are cheaper. There are plenty of opportunities to meet FL's & amateurs, freebies. There is a beach resort area nearby which is expensive with very average beaches. There is also nice islands nearby with fantastic beaches.

Accessibility is an issue for many sex tourists on limited time frames, AC, Manila, Cebu & Davao are directly accessible internationally.
The further you go away from these areas the girls are less sophisticated & more likely to give freebies/be GF's, however family entanglements can make life difficult/dangerous.

Here's a checkllist the sex tourist should consider before making a choice :
- How much money can I afford to spend
- How long can I stay
- Is my stay for sex only, sex + vacation or vacation with a little sex
- Do I prefer ST, LT or GF

General comments for new visitors. PI P4P girls are less 'commercial' than other areas os South East Asia. They will behave more like GF's than pro's. Prices are relatively cheap. They speak more english than elsewhere in SEA. Freebies take no responsibility for contraception, use it or be prepared to pay for the abortion/child care costs. The place is full of young girls with fatherless eurasian babies already. Please don't add to the problem. The people are warm & very friendly to foreigners. Use common sense, crime risk is proportional to your behavior. The country is struggling to emerge from third world status, don't get hung up on small frustrations.

Ah, the one week milestone. Only 2 and a half more days left.

Today, walked down to Metrobank on McArthur Boulevard to get some money. It's the closest ATM for my card. Just as a note, the closest ATMs (AFAIK) from Fields are as follows, if you have these cards:

Mastercard/Maestro/Cirrus: Banco de Oro (BDO), right at the entrance to SM Mall.
Visa/Plus: Metrobank, across from Pagcor Casino (go to the end of Fields, turn right, and walk for about 5-10 min. til you get to the casino. Metrobank is across the highway. The building is set off from the road and looks kind of shady, but they have guards (with shotguns!) and I've never had a problem with the ATM for the 3 or 4 trips that I've used it. 10,000P withdrawal limit. If you can't find it, look for the BPI (Bank of the Philippine Islands) building, then look 2 or 3 buildings to the left.
JCB/Bank of China/Korean banks: Couldn't tell ya. Should probably inquire at your hotel.

After the money run, crossed the street again to the Pagcor Casino and the 5th Street Poker Room. If you're into that sort of thing, they have a 550P buy-in tournament everyday (registration begins 2 PM) with a 10,000P guarantee for the winner, and other prizes up to 4th place. Not bad, but loud, lots of Tagalog spoken (even though they say tables are English only), and the cards look a bit worn out. Still, good for some excitement. After the tourney, headed back to Wild Aces (at the Wild Orchid) and played until about 7 o'clock, then met up with my buddy and started the bar hopping. My notes:

Body Shop: Went back for a regular day. Very nice girls, relaxed atmosphere. I recommend stopping by for a quick drink.

Las Vegas: Part of the Korean-owned Agasya group, I always have to say that I like the style of those bars, even if they are sometimes less than welcoming to non-Koreans. More music than the 27 standard AC Hits collection, and a very pretty group of girls, combined with non-pushy waitresses makes me a happy monger. Saw a few girls to my liking, but they were taken, so we moved on.

The Honey Pot: Part of the Viper Room/Coyote Ugly group. Facilities look almost identical to the Viper Room, complete with comfy chairs, curtains, and pool table. Girl selection was quite limited, but nice atmosphere. Played (and lost) a couple of days of pool, and moved on.

Roadhouse: Walked in, seemed crowded and most girls taken, so moved on.

Edelweiss: Walked down to Perimeter to this nice little bar connected to a German restaurant. AFAIK, the only bar with real German weissbier (although they bring it to you in a can, you pour yourself into the glass). As a Perimeter bar, it closed at 1. We both found girls that we liked, but I decided not to because I was in the mood for a different body type, and my friends' choice was talking with the owner, and (according to the waitress) she was going back to the province the next day, so we left.

Dollhouse: Wednesday night I had seen a few girls that I liked, but I was quite drunk and didn't call them over before the shift change at 3 am (see previous report). Got there at 1 this night and called one of them over. Marilyn, 23, from Bicol. Very slender, great wide smile. We had a good time talking and watching my friend get rejected by one girl after another.

I was in Cambodia about 3 months ago. ST was $15 and LT was $30 if you got them out of one of the clubs. You can take as many of them as you wish to. So I took 2 upstairs for ST and they didn't rush me at all.

If you meet freelancers in a bar you can get $20 LT. My friend didn't negociate and when she left that afternoon gave her $20 and she was OK with it. A few days later I took home her sister, which was quite a coinidence. I negociated first for $25 LT. This girl was super hot though.

I guess there are still the place for $5 or $6, but you walk in, have a fuck, but there are stories of them trying to steal money out of your pants. I didn't want to go to somewhere like that. So I guess you can still get the $5 or $6 girls, but I won't give it a try. I only had one night in Angeles so far and didn't learn how to get a girl for 600 or 700 Pesos yet. I'll post a report on that later.

Yeah, not much else to do in Phnom Pehn. Me and my friend went to Siem Reap to see the Angkor Wat (maybe to justify a trip to Cambodia from Bangkok). Girls wanted more money in Siem Reap. I met a really hot looking one and told momasan I wanted to keep her for 2 days. We agreed to $70 and momasan wouldn't go any lower. Someone mentioned which bars are top right now. In my opinion, any or all of the following bars are great to visit (basically in order geographically from Blue Nile on down)

- Blue Nile (not as good as in its heyday, but still big with lots of girls)
- Champagne (small, but good selection, good mamasans)
- Typhoon (probably my favorite, smaller but great selection, friendly wait staff)
- Las Vegas (big, friendly all around)
- Gecko's (small, but always a good time)
- Dollhouse (huge selection, second floor pool tables)
- Carousel (revolving floor makes it easier to choose, good selection)
- Atlantis (I was kind of disappointed at the selection, but it's new and big and shiny, definitely worth checking out)

Pretty much anybody would name all of these as the obvious places to go. I tend to stick with the tried and true (and any big bar has enough girls rotating in and out for a lifetime anyway!). Anyone like to suggest any others that are not as obvious, and mention their highlights?

Yeah, I've gotten to the point where "huge" isn't a plus. To each his own, of course. Carousel or LaPasha are about upper limit on how big of a bar I like. Some smaller bars I liked last time:

- the Mo's group of Paradise, King of Diamonds, and Voodoo. Never had a bad time with any girl from those places. Last trip I went to Voodoo for the first time in 6 months, and the Mama still remembered me and which girls I barhopped with.
- Angelwitch. Possibly a personal choice on my part but I get treated well here. Different shooter special every day, 6 for 500 pesos if you're so inclined.
- Bar Hoppin. Nice layout, nice girls, nice shooters list, and usually not busy. Good ratio in your favor.
- Gecko's. Agreed. Small though, so it doesn't actually have to BE busy to LOOK busy. Lots of nice looking girls here.
- Stampede. Just on the far side of ABC. Most underrated bar in town from what I've seen.
- Bunny Ranch. One of the least conspicuous storefronts in town, but I went in to see more than a few pretty girls, and only a few customers. The downside here is that half of the bench seating opposite the girls stretches all the way down the bar, so getting a good seat can be a problem if they're busy.

Also, the way-out Perimeter bars are nicer than I expected. Lost in Asia, Roadie's, and Mirrors were all pleasant surprises.

so far i had twice a std. the first was 2002 from a visit in cambodia and relatively easy to get rid off by taking a cocktail of doxycycline and ciprofloxacine. 5-6 days and it was fine.

i used condoms all the time after it. lets say till 2005, then i relaxed it a bit,
but nothing happened and i got careless.

coming back from ac last time (march 2008), my willy started dropping again. i have to admit, some rounds have been bb.

i took some pills as above and nothing worked, it even got really worse. peeing razor blades, you know what i mean?
had to go to the doctor but too late. it was a nice combination of gonorrhea and chlamydia and after that time it threatened already to spread into the blood and into the eyes.

finally, i needed 3 shots of cephtriaxone im in my thigh, each 1g (!) to get it removed. every 24 hrs and thats quite a lot.
supported by some new antibiotics i've never heard of.
3rd generation i was told.

it was not only the dropping out of the penis, the whole "thing" was in pain.
being touched was painful and every morning erection wasn't fun either.
you won't consider any boomboom with such an inflammated tool.
simply too painful.

just for consideration for the guys going raw.
these strains of gonorrhea aren't that easy to treat and the usual 1st generation antibiotics back from the 80ies or 90ies don't work anymore.
im shots or even iv is necessary nowadays to get rid of it quickly.
and these strains are available in ac.

since i travel to ac each time for a few days only, when i get symptoms, i'm back home and can treat it.
but if anyone is there for 2 weeks or more, it can spoil your complete annual holiday.

anyway, up to you, but i've learned my lesson.
