Hi guys,

Yes guys, I'm adding an additional 1/2 bath at My Place for all you guys with blatter or kidney problems, ha, ha! And for all the "beer lovers", we all know how that goes! Most likely within the next week or two!

Yesterday, I escorted Luisa back to Mayorista after a ST in my apartment. It was 3.20 AM by the time we got there. My friends had left and I was the only gringo in Mayorista. But there were still plenty of people around, so I felt perfectly safe. I stuck around until 4 AM to search for my 3rd Mayorista girl for the night, but couldn`t find a girl to my liking at this late hour.

I am planning a 1-week trip to Medellin around the 4th of July and was thinking about staying that the Belford Dann Carlton in Medellin. I am going to be spending this week with a girl who I met online who lives in Medellin as well. She's smoking. If things don't go well, I will go girl crazy obviously.

Anyway, I want to know the best hotel for the price. They are quoting me $71/night, around $78/night with taxes and fees. It seems pretty good for the location and the 5 Star status.

I was hoping for something cheaper, maybe $50 night, but I want a decent hotel to bring my girl to. And to enjoy my stay. It is my first time in Medellin.

Please recommend or if you have stayed here, let me know.

Lastly, if you know how to get the cheapest ticket to Medellin, where or when. Let me know. Too.coming from Los Angeles.

How much money do I need to bring for a 3 day night trip including for lodging girls etc? Is $1500 enough?

The only person that can answer that question is YOU after you RTFF. The price for food, lodging and girls varies tremendously so that no one could possibly answer your question accurately not knowing whether you prefer a 45k a night hostel or a 350k a night hotel. Same goes for your taste in food and girls. Read the forum, take notes and you can accurately determine what it is going to cost YOU.

Cheaptickets.com for flights,you will not find a ticket cheaper anywhere,period. Once in a great while you might save 10 bucks on Orbitz but their website sucks IMHO. Kayak will find the same flights on cheaptickets and direct you to their site if you prefer the functionality of their site better.

I just got airfare to Medellin cheaper than what it cost me to go to Costa Rica last year. You picked a good time to fly.

I just paid $371 to go from NYC. Great deal.

I also recommend using [url]www.sidestep.com[/url]. It searches multiple sites simultaneously and has some cool interface features.

I will suggest you to visit loutron girls are around $80. 00. I visited Medellin last month and, this was the best choice take it from me that I live in miami lots of beautiful girls to choose from, I DID THE Medellin TOUR centro, la mayorista, san diego, fase 2, lots of girls but not quality but if you want to just stick it these places are not a bad experience. Parke lleras hunting was better for me.

It's pretty cheap round trip.

These are some random pics of my trip to Medellin in 2006. A friend had given me an apartment to use, but after spending a some time at the Mansion, I got a room there as well. It was a great decision. I met some great guys, and more importantly, some great girls. This captures a little of the ambience of the Mansion. I've since been back numerous times. I am a little reluctant to post photos, but since it's been 3 years, I figure it's ok.

If you enjoy them, I'll post more. I certainly have plenty to spare.
