Every so often I'll go to a nightclub and entry varies from 20 usd to 100 usd and don't get much of anything besides a DJ, maybe a couple free drinks included at best.

I travel quite a lot for work inside Europe by car, and I've barely seen any police border checkpoints. I recently drove to Holland: nothing. Back to Belgium at a different border crossing: nothing. To Luxemburg: nothing. To Germany: nothing. From Germany to Denmark: nothing. I have colleagues who drove all the way from Belgium to Italy around Easter: nothing at the French, German, Swiss and Italian borders. A friend of mine drove from Belgium to Poland 2 months ago: again, nothing at the German and Polish borders.
