Saturday 2/21.

Checked into the Grand Hyatt. Great room but I don't care for the area. Not really walkable and you are stuck eating at the mall nearby which has some good choices and I ended up eating there twice during the weekend. Lalabo was also staying at the same hotel so we had lunch together and then headed to a place that I consider my version of Disneyland the world famous Scandello!!

Since it was a Saturday afternoon and we all know that it will be slow on Saturdays, I chose that day to get the partying itch scratched. Bottle of gin ordered, tables reserved, Axel Hyest on the way to meet us it was going to be a fun night. We ended up finishing two bottles of gin, a few rounds of tequila shots and we ordered another bottle but it didn't get consumed and was saved for a later date. Don't ask girls what they charge. Tell them what you offer and see what they say. The asking rate is 1. 5 k for in house and 3 k outside. You decide what you are comfortable with and go from there.

Buy a bottle if you really want to have fun. If you don't drink, that is cool too.

I met a few guys who were from the USA and one of them was tipping the girls to sit and kiss and touch them up. Told him to stop doing that as it teaches the girls bad habits. Another one was trying to settle for 500 are for short time and was getting shot down by all of them. Then he tried to get numbers for outside and I doubt anything came of that as well. Monday report.

I read about the Predios or "buildings" on gpguia and it was mentioned a couple times in these forums. The most talked about one seems to be Rua Conselheiro Furtado 151. The building looks scary on Google Maps but it's not really. I was trying to arrive by 7 pm but due to the Uber dropping me off at a different location and some weirdness with Google Maps, it took me 30 minutes to find the place. When all the girls were exiting, you can see them in full lighting, unlike at Scandallo where the checkout area is also dimly lit. The women are still generally very pretty but in that lighting you can see just how much of it is makeup and clothes. I agree with other members here that Gauguin is just a notch down from Scandallo on average and a notch or maybe two up from Casarao. But this is only because Casarao's roster is inconsistent. They have some 5's, but because the girl count is high, by simply ignoring the bottom third, you'll be left with a lineup that can rival higher end clubs.

When I first started going to Scandallo, most of the girls were happy with 600 reals. At that time, the exchange rate was 3 to 1 though. Now, and for quite sometime, it's been 5+ to 1. The girls understand the exchange rate when dealing with gringos and try to adjust accordingly. Throw in the rising cost of everything, and the price gets higher. Too high if you ask me. Annagie's latest report confirms what I found a year ago. The target price most of the girls at Scandallo are seeking is 1,500 reals presently. I believe that's too high, and virtually all the girls there will accept lower, especially if you don't go lower than around 1,000 reals. I'm not saying you can't go lower than that, but as a gringo your odds of success go down if you do. Especially if you aren't a known quantity or repeat customer. But at that price (1,000), and given the current exchange rate, I would essentially be paying the same in dollars at Scandallo as I did when I paid 600 at a 3 to 1 exchange rate. And that's 100% OK with me!

I would not eat Japanese food here although I have, several times. The Chinese restaurant Rong he is very good if not the best but the portion is for 2. There is another one in Moema. The Japanese rodizio place named Sapporo in Meoma will be much better than what you get in Japanese town. My experience tell me better Japanese food and there are many is outside of Liberdade

Based on your comments I signed up for Meu Patrocino (MP) on the web and downloaded the app. Both seem glitchy for some reason. I sent our the 10 free messages allowed for new users, but when it asked me to sign up for a "premium" or "elite" membership the app and website never linked to the subscription menu or let me sign up. On my trips I personally only plan to Scandallo 2 nights a week, maybe 3-4 for a 12 day trip, but don't skimp on those nights!

Getting money from ATMs has been kind of a PITA. The banks close pretty early, like 4 pm. I wake late because of the late takeout sessions from the clubs, so the ones inside banks are not accessible. I've been relying on 24 hour ATMs mostly. But even those are spread out far and Google Maps isn't always accurate. I've been taken to "24 hour ATMs" that are in shops that are not open 24 hours. I've also been to one where it ran out of cash so I have to Uber to another ATM. These are just newbie issues that are taken care of with the right behavioral changes. Just grab as much cash as possible in multiple transactions when you're at a working one.

Latina girl came and gave me a great session that ended in CIP again. I love her eyes. Most girls' eyes here are darker than her hair but hers is the opposite which was really attractive to me. She says she's from Mogi das Cruzes which isn't far from SP. My experience is that BBFS in most places, and Scan included, is mostly a numbers game as long as you offer the right amount and you pick the right targets. The right amount seems to be about 1700-1800 for one HR at the time of this posting since I had a couple of girls settle at this amount, including in Gauguin yesterday. Maybe some of you guys can get it cheaper but I haven't been able to do that, especially with no Porto. For the targets, all the girls who speak English except one that I interviewed in between the two trips didn't accept BB. Chances were better with those who only speak Portugese. I had 4 rejections today, 3 with girls who speak English and 1 who only speaks Porto. The 5th one I interviewed turned out to be someone who speaks no English but some Spanish, which makes basic conversion easier for me. We kind of clicked and I asked her about BB. I was pretty sure we'd settle at around 1.7 k or 1.8 k but offered 1.5 k to start. She countered with 2 k, and we settled at 1. 8 k. Great session at my apartment and we went two rounds before she left. She had excellent physical fitness and didn't tire out like the Casarao girl. She gave me her IG afterwards and she has about 20 k followers. She says she's from the Rio Grande area and has Italian and German ancestry, but she's a fake blonde, which I didn't mind. She asked for an Uber home and I paid. Total damage = 1800 + 470 exit fee + 600 entry and consumables + 50 Uber = 2920.

Wednesday afternoon, went to the block of Moema clinicas where Abbobora is. Pinheiros is pretty far from Moema, and almost everything else, and not a good location for hobbying. The round trip was about 90 reals. First up is Abbobora. Lineup is OK, I only saw one girl I was somewhat interested in, but on closer look during the interview, she didn't look as good as the initial presentation. I made the BB request just to get a data point and she said no. Moved on to Miruna. Miruna's lineup was not good at all. One of the ladies looks like she's around 40. Moved on without interviewing anyone. Next is Moah. Lineup is better than Miruna but no one really interesting. Again interviewed a girl just to get a data point, she said no to BB. 57 House lineup was pretty good, many worth interviewing. I picked a girl with a small body and cute GND face, white brunette. She wanted 500 tip for BBFS plus whatever the house would have given her, which is around 150 for the session. The house fee is 350 including the room so they basically take 200 for either incall session or outcall, excluding the room. So her target is basically 150 + 500 = 650 for an incall but she wants more for outcall. I proposed 700, she said 900, I said think about it and left her my number. After I walked out she sent me a message, and we worked out to 800 just like what I paid for the Casarao sessions. She says she can come after work but later changes her mind to reschedule for tomorrow afternoon instead.

1 am went to Casarao, place was so packed that it was hard to move. There were lots of dudes, but it's really the absolute number of unoccupied ladies that count and there were still plenty of those. I was having a hard time picking since I was looking for a girl who looked different than what I got the previous times. I asked one skinny chick and she rejected BBFS. Asked a Latina, she looked good but I just had a Latina in Moema Prime so she wasn't a must have. I offered 600 + Uber for 1 HR BBFS. Way to salvage a bad situation bud. I would have never had the patience to hang in there after hearing her lie about the getting in trouble for BBBJ and requested payment for nothing. Using a translator app in situations like this causes me to lose patience more quickly.
