But, he also advised to dress well for thermae, and that your appearance can impact your price in that environment.

Still, he got me interested in all the stuff on Soi Bukhaio, which I think is where I will stay if I get down there. I've exchanged emails with him and he was really helpful. Steff's Thailand Travel is his Flemish counterpart and does interesting video tours of Pattaya on his motorcycle, as well as other parts of Thailand.

Then there is the Austrian guy, King Epic, who panders a bit too much to guys who don't seem to have ever mongered, probably never get laid, and are just curious. Still he offers some on the ground intelligence and some hilarious moments, such as encounters with aggressive "katoey". More entertaining than enlightening.

The place is very easy to get to. Take the Baht Bus heading to Jomtien and get off just as Thappraya Road turns down towards the beach. If you've gone past the first 7-11 and the Baht Bus is headed along the beach you've gone too far. There are a bunch of bars there including the more well known Country Road. But I've never seen a girl like that in any of them. 555.

Lot of Intel in the videos. Somehow he seems to be stuck with girls standing outside skyfall on WS. Either he cannot get into skyfall or the girls don't like him, whatever he seems to be obsessed with the bar.

Kev is a moron. No actual intel or interesting stuff or value add in his videos. Surprising that people still watch as he continues to make more videos thinking people find value. Blindly ignore him, nothing he shows which we already don't know. He indeed sucks. Why would anyone ask you to visit a bar on the Dark side with old hags unless one is being paid to promote it. Steff is another bad example of a guy who could afford a go pro and is now torturing people into making money for oneself.

King epic. He is decent but lot of time is wasted in his videos getting to places than the actual places themselves. One to watch are wherein he is doing Q & A or rather advising people on LOS. I would have never made the trip basis his videos or advise that's for sure.

Another one is Kevin borderless, bloke who gave up his teaching job in Japan and is now living in Jomtien. Do watch if you have time as he will make some money and enjoy his frugal immaterial life in Thailand at your expense. Funny but true.

Anither post is named Pattaya, videos shot by a brit. More interesting but again no new content in them. He keeps walking around the town being asked to fuck off. He doesn't seem to still get it, and keep asking the same stupid question to all girls, how are you, is business slow today. As if the girls were waiting for him to turn up with his camera and solve all their problems. Despite the girls asking to not film he continues to do so exposing them unnecessarily. What kind of moron would kill the hen laying the golden egg. What is the ourpose of shooting the girls who give you company and peasure when they dont want to be. Really awful. Its really surprising and pathetic as to what people will do to stick around in LOS. All said it's fun to watch the fantasy called pattaya from different people's perspective. Its indeed hilarious and worth a laugh. The only ones who can benefit from these videos are the basement barney's.

It dropped me on some bus station and from there I have to take tuk tuk as there was no Taxi available. The tuk tuk guy also did not wanted to go to hotel directly and dropped me on beach road. I have to take 2 luggage to my hotel.

I think it depend. If you have luggage I would not take bus.

I am new to ISG and I had a couple of questions before my next visit to Pattaya. It is going to be for about 4-6 days. I have been there a couple of times but I have only gone for soapy massages / BJ bars.

This time around I am planning to take time figuring out the bar girls (BG) and freelancers (FL). I have read through some of the posts here and at other places and noticed that people tend to stay away from FL due to security reasons IE high risk, if something happens you can't track them down whereas with BG you know the bar she was at. Is this to be taken seriously or should I go ahead with FL / BG both?

From what I read here the advice for BG is to buy them 1-2 drinks and take them back to your room, if this incorrect please correct me. I wanted to know what sort of price I should expect to pay with FL / BG / GoGos for short and long times?

Also, is it safe to take any girl for long time? I only ask because you are going to be asleep at some point. I mean if I put everything in the hotel safe, is there anything else I need to worry about?

I am planning to stay at the walking street guest house to be in on all the action, is this a good place?

One final question, I noticed on a previous post here that someone advised to only use massage parlors if you are in Pattaya for a short duration because you get to meet a lot of women in one go. Is this true? If so should I just stick to massage parlors so should I give FL / BG a go?

I would keep my ears pricked when it comes to FLs, but if you use your common sense and pick a girl who does not get your Spidy senses tingling, then you should be fine. I've never had a Thai girl rip me off in the regular western sense of the word: outright steal from me. They are supremely honest in that respect. If you get ripped off, it will be in the indirect way: she will negotiate a price that is well above market. And you being gullible and trusting, will accept that price. That's a rip off, but not a burglary, which is what you seem to be concerned about.

You just need to hunker down with a cup of hot chocolate and read and read and read. Rough guidelines: Beachroad should be around 1000 baht (maybe less, maybe more) for ST, and maybe double that for LT. If you find someone on WS, prices will be higher, but I would say you should definitely not be paying 3000 baht for a street walker. You may be quoted such prices, but that is always a starting place for the negotiation. Negotiating is expected, so don't feel churlish or cheap for negotiating. How you do it exactly is up to you. Some people play hard ball and say 1000 baht, nothing more, take it or leave it. And they then walk away if the girl does not come down to 1000 baht. This ensures you stay within your budget, but it means you don't always get the girl you want. Some on this board will disagree with me (that you don't always get the girl that you want), but it's just true.

If you go into a nightclub, on the other hand, you may be quoted some very high prices, like 4000-5000 baht for ST. As the Thai so often say, "up to you" as to whether you want to take a girl up on that. I probably would not, but there are some scorching hot women in the nightclubs and your little head may get the better of your big head and wallet. I would say 2000 baht ST in a nightclub is a reasonable price, though rest assured there will be people on ISG who disagree with me, and you may have to shop around before you get a good looking woman willing to go with you at that price. And here is an important factor: much of the pricing depends on you. If you look good, have the right kind of profile for the women, you will get quoted better prices. But if you are a mess, smelly, dressed poorly, look like a lecher, resemble Trump's cyber hacker (weighs 400 pounds), or whatever, then the prices you get quoted will be higher. So just roll with it and figure it out for yourself.

Often the hotel will hold the girl's ID at the front desk as a way to ensure safety. That is, when you arrive at the hotel with your girl on your arm and the sheepish smile on your face, you will need to have the girl hand over her ID to the security guard or front desk person. So if the girl tries to run away with any cash or anything else, she won't get past the front desk. The better hotels will call you when she gets to the front desk and tries to leave and will ask if everything is ok. So that makes it very safe. But if you are in the guest house on WS (never stayed there myself), the policy may be different. But as I said, if you pick a reasonable girl who does not seem hopped up on meth, then you will likely be fine. Put your stuff in the safe (not super secure, I know, but better than nothing), don't leave your $600 phone in plain sight, and hide the gold bars and diamonds under the mattress: you should be fine.

My own view is that Pattaya is a sex-oriented theme park. Let your imagination run wild, let your stress levels ebb, and let your dick run the show. If you see someone you want to fuck, go work on her. Leave your shame at the airport, take plenty of cash, and be prepared to sacrifice sleep for the sake of carnal indulgences. So no, don't limit yourself to massage parlors *only*. The only time I would suggest this would be if you are there for a day or so. If you have 4-5 days, then try everything, my friend. Visit the massage parlors during the day and get your sunshine rocks off. Then visit a soapy in the evening to get your dusk rocks off. And then hit the beer bars or FLs on beach road for your nighttime rocks. And finally, to take the edge off, visit the nightclubs to get your full moon rocks off. Sleep for 6 hours, and then repeat the next day. It's a tough life, but someone has to do it.

If you are up to it, try Soi 6, which can be intimidating, but if you have the courage, then it can be a blast. You can get plentiful, cheap, minimal hassle, albeit somewhat mechanical sex at will on soi 6. Search for soi 6 on this thread and you will get thousands of hits.

And finally, once you have caught your breath, healed the wounds on your severely abused member, and wiped that stupid grin off your face, post your experiences right here on ISG.

Nothing is 100% safe of course, but given the huge number of sessions done every day by FLs in Pattaya, the number of reported crimes by these girls is next to nothing. Still, it is a good advice to stay more or less sober when bringing someone back to your room, don't leave any valuable stuff within easy reach or sight, use the room safe for your really valuable stuff (money, passport, camera, tablet, .) and treat the lady correctly. Most incidents seem to be over money or services and that is usually caused by bad or incomplete agreements between the monger and the girl. Yes, that is the lawyer in me talking. .

And being the gentlemen we all are, we cannot but offer our lovely companion a drink too, can we? The price of her services are paid to her directly after some negotiations with her. Make very clear what you want (don't be shy!) an agree a price you are both happy with.

A *very* general summary of ST prices is between 500 and 1000 baht for a Beach Road FL, 1000 baht for a Soi 6 girl, 1500 for a bargirl, agogo girls 2000+ baht. Add the barfine to all except FLs from 300 baht in Soi 6 to 1000 for agogo girls. LT prices are roughly 150% of the ST prices. Barfines are the same for ST and LT.

If you do not get an offer for "boom boom" within 5 minutes of entering the street you must be invisible or an ugly version of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. There are literally many hundreds of girls there, all casting for your patronage. You don't even have to enter their bars: they are all standing in front, hoping to be chosen by you.

Seems normal. Soapies charge anywhere from 2000 to 4000 for 90 minutes depending on the level of the girl. The high end rates seem to fluctuate on how busy the place is and who is booking for you. Rasputin has some up to 7 k.

[/QUOTE]That's also my experience. Thai girls (and other girls in SE Asia) are generally quite correct. In other parts of the world one comes across a lot of working girls who agree to offer certain services in return for a certain price, then proceed to tell you that "I don't do that! When you tell them that "that's what we agreed" the give you the fish look and repeats over and over "I don't do that". This almost never happens in Pattaya: a deal is a deal!

When I say "almost" it's because one thing that I have learnt to look out for a late-night freelancers on the Beach Road and the Walking Street. If they have earned nothing for a day or two they sometimes get desperate enough to say anything to rope you in. It happened to me once (when, for full disclosure, I had been drinking more than is wise): I asked a girl whether she would do anal sex with LT. She assured me she would, in return for a higher-than usual 2500 B. In the room she insisted on payment up front. Now, that's unusual, but I was silly enough to half-accomodate her by putting the banknotes on a book shelf and say, you can pick them up after the act. She swooped past me and grabbed the money. And sure enough, once we were in bed she exclaimed that she NEVER does "sex ass". I said that she had promised this. She ignored me. In the end I asked, so why did you cash an extra high price? She had the nerve to say "me just think you very nice man".

Yes, well. On the BR these things can happen. But bar girls and even freelancers who hang out and are known in a few locales just don't want to get a reputation for being unreliable.
