regal - thursday following a professional function our overdressed group arrived at 2330hrs with 50/50 in tow along and another wanabe monger. regal was fairly busy but there was room to move. m/f ratio again poor especially for a thursday night. maybe it’s the le squeeze but there are definitely less cis wg’s around. band sucked, lead guitar and drums just amateur, appalling vocals. 50 decided to leave for the imperial with his mate as he had some ‘shopping’ to do.

miss o and i were looking for female entertainment for the night but nothing fitted the bill in terms of appeal so we called it a day at about 0130. the real point of this part of the report is that when we left there were a large number of arab men dressed in both kandura’s and western clothing hanging around the taxi rank area (maybe 10m from the entrance doors). definitely le. we got a taxi without issue. we were well dressed and sober(ish) but i feel if miss o had been less conservatively dressed, or if we were obviously drunk then there may have been a problem.

friday night was a different story. spent the day in waxy’s for brunch. excellent as always. the sight of a queue of three drunken santa’s waiting in line for a [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134][CodeWord134][/url] was something you don’t see every day – especially in a muslim state! moved to jockeys to try and spend some more of our draw prize money then went home merry. 50 called and arranged to come over with his latest girl for a drink before moving to the seaview. lovely girl, big rack good english and fun.

seaview 2300hrs. not too busy – yet. as 50 has become so well known among the bouncers in all the usual haunts a prc girl sitting at a front row table was asked to make room for us by the staff. she of course beat a hasty retreat when she saw we were already ‘busy’. this contrasts completely with an annoying african a few minutes later who, despite seeing both guys had friends with them, insisted on the usual pinch grab and stand too close without invitation routine - and they wonder why they get told to f*ck off.

stonkin band. that lead guitar is a force to be reckoned with. the guy who is in the audience and joins in on the vocals for ‘house of the rising sun’ is to be seen to be believed. had a great time only marred very slightly by the ott bunch of expat gay men who arrived and tried to entertain with their dancing skills. fortunately they left before anyone twatted them!

fiftys girl told us a fight broke out in the ladies rest room between the prc and cis. the fight was over the prc who are obviously feeling the economic pinch and are now offering lt at 200. the cis typically open at 700 and drop to 500 as their balances dictate that they have to charge at this rate. tough life for the girls now.

several nice blondes around including one ‘a’ lister who was with a boyfriend. miss o and i were in the mood for fun – especially after the previous nights lack of success. fifty’s new friend introduced him to a blonde –miss a- who was short of money and looking for work.

i moved in and made the offer of a 3sum. shocked at first but when she realized i was serious became interested, her friend (with 50/50) almost had cardiac arrest when she found out what was going on! opened at 700 but we agreed on 500 for the 3sum lt.

Well, back in Blighty after my 4th 7’s and 8th trip to Dubai.

Arrived on Thursday, the day of queues. We were supposed to land at 00:30 Thursday morning, plenty of time for a civilised turnaround, but the flight left LHR almost an hour late, had the longest queue for passport control I have ever seen at DBX, 10 minute wait for a taxi (really!!) so buy the time we got to the Avari Hotel (650 Dhs for a twin, completely GF, no ID required this time) we had 50 mins until closing.

Anyway straight out the door to the nearest, Cyclone god bless. Arrived about 2.30 am and it was like the start of the 100m with the pressure on. Managed to secure 4 PRC lovelies just as the light came up, paid too much of course, 800 Dhs until 6.am, but we were excited and in a hurry and it obviously showed. PRC quality far better than CIS.

Well it was there start of the evening and there was some pretty rough competition.

It was not doing it for us so we went to the Cyclone again for midnight. Less of 4 loaded guns this time and more time on our hands. PRC’s all round again because the CIS quality was pretty poor compared to previous years. I settled for Sophia, very pretty face, about an 8, body a bit on the chunky side as I usually like them like racing snakes with big tits, but there was something knowing about her eyes that I took a gamble on, that paid in spades.

Out to a series of really disappointing bars, it really does seem like you need to hit the right place on the right night, went to Koubba in the Madinhat Jumeira, nice but nothing special, tried to get into Trilogy but the club and bouncers/pickers are so up themselves we waited until they prepared a table for us then told them to stick it, (30 mins wait with a reservation? Fuck off.) Went to Zinc, full of kids, Longs which in the past has always been busy and fun during the 7’s only to find it less than half full of old men and older hookers, so we gave up and went to the Premier in the Hyatt Regency, which was a first.

Now this was more like it! More like a night club full of available women. There were some stunners in there, Miss Eritrea, 1200 Dhs before the haggle, Miss Moscow, 1000 Dhs opening price, and Miss Morocco, again 1000 before discussions.

None of us wanted a girl on the last night, but stayed until the lights came up and here is a warning to all. The lights are very low in the Premiere, and a lot of the girls have so much war-paint on you almost need a head-torch on when making your selection so you don’t just end up with a ‘nice personality’ or one who looks like she has been jogging behind the council gritter.

Also for info, 4 bottles of Heineken in the Cyclone = 340 Dhs, 4 Jack Daniels and Cokes in the Regal = 108 Dhs, and 4 Jack Daniels and Cokes in the Premier = 108 Dhs. Only the people who want to show off drink in the Cyclone.

Another great trip for mongering but the non-P4P action was pretty disappointing. I think we need a guide book or one of those CAR-PARK-AVAILABILITY signs around DBX which tells you what bars/mongering venues are happening on what night in terms of numbers and quality. There are too many venues and not enough people to go round, although the quality of the food everywhere we ate was superb.

I just returned from a 3 day stint at dxb. What great fun.

This time had two newbies mates, so first off Imperial on Friday.

Now, been a while since I've been there. Quality was average at 11. 30 nothing caught my eye, although the two mates were happy enough.

So after digging deep to pay for the drinks, we took a far east tour. What an ego boost, girls grabbing you on the way and made to feel irresistable. A few quotes ranging from 700. 1000dhs, time for the CIS tour.

Some screamers around but quotes starting from 2000 dhs! . One buddy found his target, agreed on 1000 and went back to the arabian courtyard for a night of fun. I decided I'd give a miss that night, remembering my early morning meeting at work I then hooked up the other with an Azeri who claimed to be turkish initially. BAD MOVE! This ladies name is Aisha. Hotel apparently got stick for not being able to show records of all visitors. So they now ask for papers, copies acceptable.

Disappointed, I'm "Disappointed" to hear about the new procedure at Four Points. It used to be the most GF hotel in Dubai! I'll be back there next week for three days. Hoping my experience will be better but I'm not hopeful. Look for future FR...

Although it seems a little sad that they are now asking for papers. There is no supplement charge as of yet.

They did sell the idea that it was for the interests of their guests, so I can live with that.

At the same time, my colleague stayed there last week and said he had no issues. Oh well!

It is still my 1st choice in dubai esp due to close amenities.

I've asked a few times here where to find a Filipina in Dubai, at last success at the Seaview last week. The Seaview gets better and better in my opinion, the band are performing even better than before and now there are Filipinas!
Anyway I saw these two Fils come in at at first thought they were with a couple of Filipinos that they danced with and I didn't want to offend anyone by attempting to chat up their GF. The girls then sat on their own so I went to introduce myself, thought I may have made a mistake as I didn't get the usual hooker responses. In fact it turned out that both girls were very part time and were just looking to make an occassional few extra DHs if they found a guy they liked. When I asked the one I liked if she would come back with me it took a little persuasion which was refreshing after the usual trying to push them away. She even said "you realise I need some money", only too happy to oblige I thought, and struck a deal.

Think there is a direct correlation between attitude and having a good time. Also, looking for THE 'Miss Perfect' rather than evaluating what is on offer at any venue. I always find allowing a venue's attractions to soak in rather than 1 circuit and exit pays more dividends UNLESS there is absolutely nothing there in the 1st place. York and Hard Rock, for me anyway, EASILY skipped, but it's a RARE night that I can't find someone of interest at Seaview or Imperial. And I am picky: I have to find her attractive AND she has to have a fun attitude [u]with me[/u].

As to the Cyclone? Well, Cylone at 7:30pm, or 3am, might be a little bleak. But between those two times, [b]for me[/b], it's not a question of not finding a-listers, but finding enough money in the wallet to pay those prices.

The drinks are pathetic in terms of price.

The ladies are way too inflated in theirs. Thursdays is a joke a true auction.

I stick to the regal. Drinks cheaper and CIS as good as cyclone. Did not pay more than 800 dhms for any either before 2am.

On top, the girls seemed friendlier. My two buddies, one indian brit advised he experienced far less attitude from the girls at the regal than the cyclone!
