In my opinion, Indian people are quite polarized. When I was in business school, I had many indian classmates, who were mostly smart and nice people, and many of them have a good career in Europe now. Also one of my best friends is married to an Indian guy, they live happily in Germany, we see each other from time to time; on the other hand, we can see lots of them selling cheap fruits or sth on the street. I don't know if you visit Germany FKKs but usually girls there won't take Indians as their targets and most of them are Romanian.
Data is devious, it can be structured to fool everything, even itself. B School attracts Indians who can dish out adequate finesse in general conduct. Because there are so many people in India, no one respects personal space and looks for the best deal. Otherwise, there is too much diversity to draw any other generalisation. On my first trip to Europe, I determined that not all South-Asian looking gentry were Indian. Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Sri-Lankans and Mauritians- We all look similar. Behaviourally, Indians are as diverse as any other ethnic peoples. Jerks to Gentlemen and everything in between. Opinions depend on whom you ask.
I loved the FKKs (until I discovered good Independents). Romanians have always been nice to me. Again, we may be drawing inferences from vastly different samples. I have had good bad and ugly experiences. But never stopped experiencing. The Indophile always finds me in the crowd.
