For the next two weeks, I'll be staying at the Novelty Suites Hotel. This Hotel is located almost directly on the other side of Poblado St. From the Mansion. It's about a block away and on the same side as the Oviedo Mall. So far, this place is damn near perfect when you factor in the cost vs amenities. Daily price is 193 k all in. This particular room is a suite (separate living and bedroom). The living room has a good size fridge, two burner stove, microwave, table and chairs, and a balcony. The bedroom features a fairly comfortable bed with plenty of pillows, TV with Direct TV, small walk-in closet wit a safe, plenty of outlets for hooking your shit up, and very fast Wifi. While the shower is a bit dated, that showerhead will give you a fuckin enema if you're not careful. While I haven't checked it out, there's a bar on the top floor as well as a small exercise room + sauna. They, also, provide a free membership to a separate gym called "Gimnasio Santillana". While this gym isn't to the level of our gyms in the States or the Bodytechs in MDE, it has everything you need to get a good workout in.
Dudes work at night so I'm thinking its probably chica friendly. In MDE, I prefer to not bring chicas back to my room especially the streetwalkers. With that being said, I did notice some decent talent around Lleras Park last Thursday Night that I may want to make a run at. I already started greasin the desk clerk by bringing him a plate of food the other night.

You grew up in a time were the women you met did not live in an alternate reality of Instagram, Facebook "likes", or Tinder. Actually, when I was coming up cell phones were not even popular until well after I had graduated high school. I had probably never send a text message until 2005 or 2006. Women were much less "cunty" back then. You didn't have to get her to lower her phone away from her face to acknowledge you like you do today. If you had a fight with your girlfriend that evening, she did not have the option to open an app and "swipe left, swipe right" until she found some strange dick she could hop on 30 minutes later.
I agree with you how the Internet has been very helpful though. Had I not been curiously googling "What do Dominican women look like" back 2007 I would have never come across this forum. I didn't even know P4 P without the possibility of being jailed was even an option outside of the US! Sure all this social media available to us now provides many ways of communication. Perhaps on the surface, it seems more comfortable and even less expensive than the old days of having to go out and actually make face to face conversation. However, facebook sucks. Its ok for people you are actually friends with. But trying to meet girls. Uysh what a waste of time!. IT is amazing to me, being that there are so many ways to get in contact with a person, that you can have numerous conversations, getting to know a little about her, making a plan, only to find at the last minute she goes MIA. But its my fault letting myself get sucked in. The sexy photos serve as very tempting advertising and have created a new type of working girl. The attention working girl! Problem is you don't know until you have already wasted your time and energy.
Happened just recently to me. I commented on some horse back riding photos and after maybe two brief facebook conversations this chica was ready to take an hour and a half bus ride with me to go horseback riding. I was the one to literally put on the brakes and say, hey why don't I invite you for sushi tomorrow first just to get to know you. The next afternoon, she even confirmed via whatsapp with, "claro que si lindo. Muah. A q horas?" Finally 2 hours before I gave her a call to confirm the details. She wanted to change to a place closer to where she lives but then said ok to my suggestion but wanted to make it an hour later. I could sense an apprehensive tone. I said I will message you with the address. Pooof! Gone! NO response, did not answer her phone again, no "I can't make it," no lame excuse, just poof! I could even see that for several hours she had only 1 check mark indicating the message had not yet been delivered to her phone.
My point here is not only to vent. But what the fuck? How inconsiderate can a person be? What is going on in this situation is a mystery to me and I find it happens often when trying to set something up with girls I have never met on facebook. I have heard every lame excuse in the book and even still. Sometimes they think they are making an excuse but in fact, coming from the first world and having dealt with educated people all my life. It isn't even an excuse. It's just stupidity, laziness or disrespect. Many times I have had to say to girls who I already know. A simple message letting me know you can't make it makes ALLLLLL the problems go away. IT is a matter of consideration and respect. The hypocrisy of it all, on the rare occasion I cancel on a date, more often than not I get black balled with either a swift "blocked or unfriend" and sometimes even a nasty response.
Nothing is going to change. The women have the pussy and we want it. I guess the only thing that can change is my level of self respect by not accepting this behavior and figuring out a way to be upfront and polite about my expectations and that any disrespect will not be forgiven.
Anyone who has had great success on FB. I would be very curious to get an outline of how they build up to the meet.
They sell the big card, but it has perforations in it to break it down to the smaller sim. At least Movistar has it, that I know of.

The trick for making Facebook work is having an abundance mentality. Never get yourself fixated on one single chica. I have an upwards of 400+ chica "friends" on FB and every now and then I go pruning:
-Like most guys here I click the "like" button on chicas that post slutty pics, if only to encourage them to post more (It's an interesting phenomenon actually: chicas (including their gringa counterparts) are basically giving away for free something even an average glamour model would normally get paid for. It's a new kind of whoring). It's an attention addiction to them. The more likes they get for a photo of them half naked, the more of those kinds of photos she will post. Free advertising for me, as I do not have to guess to hard as to what said chica would look like naked.
-Closer to my trip I start making contact with any new FB chica friends I have gained, or ones I did not have enough time to get around to on previous trips. This is the preliminary stage to start weeding out chicks you have been spending "Like" currency on. If I send a simple "Hola, como estas?" And get any of the following back as a response:
--A simple "Thumbs up" (👍). It is like a polite way of telling you to "fuck off"
--A "Hola, bien" (she does not add "y tu?")
--I see she has read my message but does not respond.
--She hasn't read my message in day despite me seeing she has been online multiple times within a day.
I just unfriend and block them. This group of girls you are absolutely wasting your time on, and you should deny them any further attention from you going forward.
-On the ground: prior to arriving a start setting up dates. I usually have about 20+ chicks in-scope going in, and maybe only get around to about 10-13 because I like to repeat with certain chicks that really do it for me. So once there I start going through my list. Chica not responding on FB or whatsapp? On to the next one. Chica says she will be there by x-time and is a no-show? On to the next one. Chica needs to reschedule? Cool, I reschedule and bump up the Chica I had coming behind her to a new time slot, or I hit up the next one on the list.
Again, to summarize my post, abundance is key. Like you mentioned in your post, "we want to fuck them. " Well, they also want our money. And there are way too many of them to fuck them all. That's why you should never get fixated on just one Chica. I used to also get upset when getting my hopes up over any one Chica that I wanted to fuck so badly, only to be ignored by said chica when it came time to see about setting something up. THE one true way to cure yourself of this "oneitis" is to just block the broad and have her out of sight, out of mind. You would be devastated if all you had was this one chick as an option, but unlike here in Sex Prison (USA), you end up having too many options to explore.

Being the old ugly fart that I am my responses have been limited and there does not appear to be many Chicas on Tinder in Colombia either. I Tried it at home in the States and was surprised as to how many likes I got and chatted with a few women who seemed to be desperate but I have no interest in. I started my experiment in the US to figure out how it worked before setting the location to Medellin. For the Colombian women that have responded it has been deceptive. One gave me her Whatsapp number and when I asked for photo's of her besides her face and got them I didn't like what I saw so unmatched her. Thus far I have matched with three other Colombian women and sent them messages. One responded right away and the other two a day later. Then last night I was contacted by two of them and conversing with them at the same time, etc. Lots of questions where are you from, oh you speak Spanish, what you doing etc and they stopped typing for whatever reason. My bet is I will hear from them later on.
One woman in the US told me that she had been on Tinder for six months, was attractive but older, had only two dates, and said that two men she met in person had lied about their height. She said she considered Tinder to be just for chatting with people, at least that was her take on it in the US. I suspect the same might be true in Colombia as well.
I'm going to keep trying Tinder in Medellin, even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while so maybe something will happen.
In the meantime when I arrive in Medellin next month I'm going to hit the streets of El Centro as I will do better with immediate results as I have in the past.

Probably can't call it great success because there have been two or three chicas who I have not been able to meet. I do not have any build up to the meet. After I become friends with them, I ask if they want to meet me when I visit. If they say yes, then I tell them I will be staying in an apartment, and the area of the apartment. I do not discuss doing anything, especially outside the apartment. Since I am almost three times the age of most of the chicas I contact, I think they know what I want. Very seldom, probably less than five times in more than 200 meetings, have I had a chica flake on me after we agree on a time for her to come to my apartment.
I think most of the chicas are happy to know they can get paid without having to spend hours going to restaurants and clubs. If they want to go out after we have had our intimate time together, I am usually agreeable to that. Many of the chicas have at least one child, so they have a limited window of opportunity to play.
As to the "engaged" and "married" chicas, unless they have posted photos to show those events, I ignore those descriptions. The power of money is usually stronger than the bonds between them. Some of the hottest women I have been with have been "engaged" or "married". Maybe they don't get as much strange as the other chicas!
