Not sure where all this perception of Pattaya being cheaper than BKK comes from? If you're talking gogo bars, BKK is cheaper. ST at Glass House gogo in Pattya is 2k BF + 5k. Not sure how much soapies are in BKK but I've been quoted 4500 for VIP at one of the soapies in Pattya and 7k or 8k for a Russian in Rapustin. I recall paying around 2100 for a very decent oily in BKK. 2100 gets you bottom of the barrel in Pattaya. Sure, some Beach Road riff raff may be cheaper but not so sure cheaper than Sukhumvit bar girls.

As for style of venue, you know I am a gogo guy. You basically are too which confuses me why you don't come to Pattaya. Talent wise Pattaya gogo clubs on Walking Street and LK Metro beat Nana and Soi Cowboy any day. Also far far few ladyboys in gogo bars in Pattaya. They're all over in Nana.

For obtaining sex specifically, agogos are a ripoff these days, unless you really enjoy that kind of atmosphere (I don't).

Once upon a time PATTAYA Go Go bars and Go Go girls were cheaper than their counterparts in BKK. Not anymore.

Is it the desire of guys to experience everything? Is there anything really special in Pattaya or Bangkok? For me everything is so dependent on my individual favorite girls, be they stunning or sometimes just very cute.

I was considering spending time in another province just because one girl was studying there. LOL.

So if you took your 6 top girls ranked in sequence of most favourite (not just looks), are they mostly in Bangkok or Pattaya or equally distributed?

I know I am weird but I don't travel anywhere just looking for new girls to fuck. I only travel long distances to places for girls I already know, or for other reasons. My first night back in Pattaya since the King's passing. Pattaya is eerily creepy. Very quiet ie. No music but seemed to be quite busy with guys on soi 7. All girls dressed in black, mainly now in t-shirts since many likely didn't have black clothing. They all kind of look generic now. You can noticeably tell things have been dialed back. Bars close at 2 am now. I'm seriously considering heading straight back to Phnom Penh until Thailand lifts these rules. I recommend everyone to stay away from Thailand until the 30 days is over. It's no fun right now.

Well I guess if you can afford it more power to you. I certainly cannot, at least for multiple times on a short trip.

Unless I was making 6 figures a year and then some, I cannot justify paying almost 4 times the amount for a girl I can get closer to home in Tijuana ('legally' And we are talking for basically just a shag back in your hotel room.

Not getting into price wars, but just not for me. I do not barfine from gogo's much anyways due to the rising price and also the risk of getting a dud. Imagine paying 7000 baht plus for a short time, and the girl turns out to be a terrible experience.

I am hoping Soi 6 and the beer bars can weather those huge increases in girl's fees for a few more years at least.

Anyone know if places like Kinnaree or Kit Kat club in Jomtien have reopened? I don't want to take a taxi and find out they are closed.

The only reason I ever stayed under cover was when it was absolutely bucketing down and did not want to be totally soaked through in 5 secs.

Bar hopping? Sure no big deal. Need to get the girl to the ST Hotel for fuck to go ahead. Always worth owning an extra large very strong umbrella (not miniature foldup).

Thai people are a little paranoid. They will refuse to speak on the mobile during a thunderstorm for fear of being struck by lightning. For me, I would avoid being in open like golf course or beach. Incidence of lightning strikes in the tropics is high.

Super tropical Cyclones or Typhoons are rare in Bangkok and Pattaya, in fact I never experienced one. However should one of these occur it would be obviously a completely different ball game. Perhaps this year can be worse with El Ninyo effects.

The Thai word for a thunderstorm is Paa-yu. Unfortunately this is a general term for storms and extra words would be needed to convey special types (or extra severe), e. G. Hurricane, Typhoons, etc.
