Therefore, he was hardly living like a king and had recently downgraded his housing to make ends meet. However, that was not the story the troll told.

Third party trolls are usually housemaids working in areas where they are free to roam when the boss is away. They go around the neighborhood stopping at different houses spreading gossip, making new friends, borrowing money, and stirring the pot. They enjoy creating drama between women with foreigners by soliciting comments from one on some aspect of the other's life and then relaying the responses in a way that provokes a hostile reaction from the subject of the gossip. These worthless domestic workers then keep the drama going for their amusement by shuttling nasty retorts between the two unknowing victims. It is a major drawback of living in close quarters housing such as condominiums and gated subdivisions. The marginal increase security is almost negated by the increase in trolling and gossip compared to living in a house on a lot with high walls, a few fierce hounds, and no neighbors within at least 50 yards.

I think most wannabe harem masters quickly abandon their plans after realizing just how difficult it is maintaining some degree of domestic tranquility and sanity with only one Pinay around on a regular basis. These women are not happy without drama, chaos, and crisis. Yes, I can relate. My beautiful 22 year old Cebuana girlfriend is trying to pull some of this shit. Saying her girlfriend's boyfriend is buying her all this bullshit and sending her all this money. Getting minor things not stocked at the sari-sari store can involve a long ride in jeepneys or trikes over rough roads in sweltering heat. A live-in can do these small but important supply runs with a better sense of urgency than a provincial maid and a lot more discretion.

However, one must know what one is getting into with a live-in girlfriend and know exactly how to get out of it should she show signs of becoming disgruntled. If she lives near other girls with foreigners or her family, expect her expectations to grow as everyone tells her what you should be giving her. At some point, you will have to hand over her walking papers. As Pinays like to say, nothing is forever. For the hardcore monger, nothing beats rolling solo without any attachments.
