Aside from having the naked parade advantage at FKKs, I enjoy SP more in terms of things to do (I enjoy their food / drink scene and have friends there) and the GFE, but definitely no regrets having visited Germany for their scene.

2. Uber is relatively cheap, but be warned, can take 75 minutes to get to Moema in only moderate traffic.

3. At that budget, would steer you towards Mercure brand, GF friendly and reasonably priced. If you sleep lightly, avoid Moema locations.

4. I brought an assortment of debit & credit and only half of them worked. No idea if Unionpay has been tested on these threads.

As for the airport to the city, I used their train / subway system which was super cheap but took several transfers. Totally doable though and I would do this method again.

Towards that point, vagabundo went for a legit swim / surf date with a woman his age at his condo, hotel California dois on Tuesday. She is a legit surfer lawyer. Met at the hotel pool. She is cool af. We legit hit the waves, she with her board, me with my fins and buoy bag. We swam / surfed for 30 minutes in the 09 h surf, then came back in and made dinner plans, and did them on olegario, at temekeria, where I have become a regular. Like, I am in there on Tuesday with her, a pretty little surfer lawyer jiu jitsu athlete, getting served by the same staff that served me and marathon fuck prive girl I fucked Monday. She drives her own car. She offers to pay, but I do. No sex yet, but she's into me. A legit good feeling, though possibly complicated as her mother lives in my building and it is hotel California, but it is also peyton place. But that said, I mean, it is actually pretty cool to hit it off with a woman who knows the area, and could be a good adventure friend for many things like surf in the other areas around her. She watches out for me on the swim, telling me accurately where there are better currents to get back on the beach, and she's right. CPFPM A is irrelevant as all I got was a kiss goodnight, but it was pretty cool.

Wednesday, I do a centro lunch and hotel date with Anne amari. Cais do oriente and hotel sheik afterwards where hidro suite is just 200 r including a beer and a sandwich. Cais was 350 for two on the prixe fixe menu. 300 and uber for her for a CPFPM of a ridiculous price, like 50 r per minute, not even including the hotel and lunch, which I actually like the lunch. Anne amari I throw a mercy fuck to help her as I am proud of her for her getting herself out of prostitution, and she's a good person, though I hate being around a smoker now.

So water temperature is fine this time of year, but I wear a 1 mm suit while swimming. Beach is actually awesome. That's why I am in rio, not SP, not Copacabana. The beach.

The jet noise from the nearby airport can affect sleepers at 0600 am sharp.

One of the best things about Moema is the density of daytime clinicas. You can walk to 10 or 12 different clinics without ever needing an Uber or a credit card. I usually leave my phone and cards secured at the apartment and just carry cash. Most spots offer a solid discount for cash / PIX, and it keeps your tech and main accounts safe. Miruna new hours until 11 pm.

I use my phone for music (blasting Filipe Ret) , connecting to new garotas on instagram, and keep the credit card for backup convenience. Also, I've never been hassled for a ID or passport at a clinica.

A laminated color copy of my Thai driver's license works perfectly fine if needed. Best $20 I spent was buying a cheap laminator at Kalunga to make my own "ID" cards.

Today, I swam and surfed, and planned some boat trips to nearby islands in barra, and as a old girlfriend or someone said, scuba diving may be better than sex, which is debatable, but at least it is worthy of discussion. Perfect, like crystal clear, calm water for swimming and surfing, though I wonder how much better it must be at some further north beaches like Vitoria, Salvador, recife, Fortaleza, etc.

Visited Gauguin for the first time. It's spectacular. High end luxury similar level to scandallo. Great hotel rooms. Slightly cheaper than Scandallo. Entry fee 350 BRL and hotel fee 250 BRL. Got a beautiful Ruiva for 1000 BRL.

Live music band similar to Scadallo. Live DJ. Great vibe.

I like this club.

Too many girls now know me at Scandallo and keep jumping on me. Good to see some new faces at Gauguin.

Will recommend Gauguin as an alternative to Scandallo. Low key, smaller LU of 60 girls. Great Boate.

SP boate scene continues to amaze me just when I thought I'd seen everything.

Just toured a new home situated a few blocks away from av paulista. It offers very thing I wanted but sadly it has to be a hard pass for me rn.

Currently reais is about 10 percent higher against usd than this time last year, so it is a 10% tax for me. After doing some math, I will wait and see.

Does anyone taking any Sumba or jiu jitsu classes in Moema, or other fun things except gym, swimming and surfing? I heard locals are very active in exercises. For a 2-week trip, there seems to be a lot of free time besides dinning, drinking and "meetings". Maybe Sumba or jiu jitsu classes are good places to enhance Portuguese, too.

I'm facing this issue when I go to get a hotel room, the lady at the reception without the glasses playfully calls me "Safado" meaning pervert / rascal. What started out as a playful banter has turned a bit annoying where the reception lady talks with my Garota in Portuguese leaving me completely out of the conversation. Any suggestions to deal with this situation?

There's no other advantage to staying in Moema besides the clinicas. I personally don't venture to the clinicas much anymore, it's just not my cup of tea.

In terms of safety and restaurants nearby and all, I've stayed in Brooklin, Campo Belo and Vila Olímpia before and felt perfectly fine in terms of safety when walking around and with enough restaurants nearby too.

Besides the clinicas aspect, I think Moema can be overrated, overpriced and also like you mentioned, have to deal with the airplane sounds.

It's reasonably priced (to me), centrally located, safe, has multiple gyms, and plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and bars within walking distance. I've also found multiple favoritas that live in adjacent neighborhoods. I usually stay there for most of my trips, with 3-5 days on the end in Vila Olimpia (nice, but crowded during week and dead on weekends), or Brooklin (just far from a lot of things. Need to Uber everywhere). Obviously the clinicas help and more than one garota has stopped by my place for a discounted session after her shift at Abbobora. Sloppy sixths for me I suppose lol. At the end of the day, to each their own!

That said, I've gotten bored with Moema and will be staying in another part of town next time just to try something new and make it all a fresh experience for me again.

The girls have an entire network that lets them know what's going on inclusive of waiters, other girls, the cashiers, and even the security guards. Its a gossip network. Don't let it bother you.

If you want to make her embarrassed a bit. Tell her andão fode comigo. It means don't fuck with me. One lady always gives me a hard time (I was very active in Scandallo. 3-4 girls some nights), but after that they generally stop. I started with no Portuguese, but am now around a B2 and have come to better understand the inner workings of scandallo after a few years.

Thailand while Thai is the native language so many people their just learn english growning up and used to westerners visiting all the time. It's funny, I tried speaking Thai and my Thai friends just laughed and told me straight up not to bother and just speak English. They don't care, most the signage in the country is in English, it's the languge of business and would rather hang around me for free practice but I am not getting the impression the SP has the same enviornment. Maybe I am wrong?

Anyway, I'll make the trip at some point. Is everyone here just going to solo to the club and then just seeing where things land? Is there anything else similiar clubs worth checking out or close that's interesting? It's just a little odd how I hear about this one mentioned but none others? I don't know about others but visiting the RLD in Amsterdam or Soi 6 is Bangkok is great time but it's totally safe. Is there decent nightlife where you can meet people? Or is it mostly private nightlife indoors and there just isn't much open to the public late at night like some Eastern European Countries?
