But I travelled to Binterbaht most nights for dinner at Busy Bee and then walked around with a girl I had picked up from Soi 94 massage or pub.

I have been to Hua Hin before and after COVID and where as I always picked up girls at Binterbaht before COVID it is now totally fucked. A lot of the bars a closed and the best punting is definitely at Soi 94 . "I was there last June and am returning soon. I wil stay close to Soi 94 .where the action is.

If you do some research (ie a search) on my previous Hua Hin posts you will find details on the area I am speaking of.

Sky.[/QUOTE]NewImage gives the three main places to explore. Since you are staying at the Hilton then start at Soi Bentabaht. The more casual bars are at the front and as you go further down Soi Bentabaht the bars tend to get more lively I have had good luck on Soi Bentabaht. Soi Bentabaht dead ends into Soi Poonsuk. Take a right and down a little ways is Paradise Bar and a few others. Picked up a real cutie in Paradise bar last year. Lots of side streets in this area with massage places and small bars. Lots of small eating places. The girl situation varies from night to night. So if you can't find any thing across from the Hilton there are TukTuk and motorcycle taxies in front of the Hilton to take you to Soi 80 or Soi 94. Good luck.

Sly.[/QUOTE]I stayed at Hua Hin City Beach hotel, next to Hilton and Soi Bintabat. Very girlfriendly. They only had safes behind front desk but that was not a problem. The pool is awsome but doesn't get much sun, however that may be a plus if you are going during the hottest months.

The 4th area hots its straps post midnight and goes on until very very late, past when the other areas have closed.

It is the hidden bar area between bintabaht and the beach.

I have made the reservation at the Hilton and will report back my adventures (or misadventures) when I return. To those that made the effort to send a PM, it is appreciated as well. I did look back over the forum before asking the questions, but in my recent experience in another part of Thailand, even a couple of months or less recently can mean a much different area to explore or take a look at for some fun. Being a fairly long time user of this forum, I am sensitive to asking for help, before exercising some "self help" as it were. It appears that at least one of the recommended areas are very close to my proposed location and two more not far away. I am looking forward to enjoying a few days in HH as I have grown tired of BK. While I am not a huge fan of the bar scene, I will explore those options to see if I will find someone that I can enjoy for an entire evening.

I moved accomodation close to Soi 94 but do go into town most nights for a feed so I will check out my old favourite haunts for sure.

The main difference I found with Soi 94 was the number of only drink girls. I never met 1 in all the times I had been to Binterbaht but I think it might be a growing trend everywhere. I will not be buying any girls drinks before I ask in future.

I have 2 upfront questions before I buy a girl a drink. Do you do bar fines? Is there a minimum number of drinks before bar fine? I can't remember buying more than 2 prior to BF. More typical for me is one drink and I've done zero drinks from time to time.

I will admit that I rarely ventured to Soi 94 as it didn't fit my preferred approach of sit, talk, drink, ST try out upstairs, and back for LT bar fine a day or so later.

Similarly, Bintabaht whilst visited, didn't have as commonly the short time room on premises option.

Hence Soi 80 has been my go to, and I have always found many a match for mu preferred fun time girl there.

My last Hua Hin visit was end October, Halloween time, and was my third or fourth visit of the year, so I do get it that things can have changed.

But if coyote type girls are taking over, especially in Soi 94, then I'll be skipping such areas fully.

Currently in Hua Hin, and had a bit of a wander around yesterday evening:

1) Soi 94 - the Wonderland section had most of the bars open, but punters were mainly watching the football. Couple of nice girls available, but overall lots of empty seats. The other place at the back of Wonderland was even quieter, with about half the bars closed, and many of the open ones not having customers.

2) Soi 80 - About 75% of bars were open and most had some customers. A couple of nice looking girls, but generally quality was poor.

3) Soi Bintabaht. Most of the bars were open, but not busy. These bars are generally a lot bigger than Soi 94/80 so they can look a bit like Mary Celeste.

Tonight I didn't ask that question and 45 minutes later she told me she doesn't do bar fines because she is the bar owner and can't leave. She did, however, offer her fat and ugly bar girls. Oh well, I did enjoy playing pool and the table games. Total cost was 200 baht.

Go for a feed and then have a few beers with no hassles like Bangkok and Pattaya.(which are both still great also).
