I'm not really a monger, just come around here checking things out and trying to find decent hotels. But I will say that Petion-ville at night is very active with SWs, and security is a little better than it's been in recent years. 7 years ago I'd come across maybe 3 corners with some SWs in Petionville. On Monday night it seemed like every corner I drove past had at least 2 or 3 girls looking for work. Everything from dark-skinned to light-skinned, mostly young, very eager for work.

I am looking forward to visiting PAP Nov 5 to 9 and I wanted some info on picking up a taxi from the airport and getting a phone to use while I am there? Where would I get this? Sounds lie the Imperial is the hotel of choice but where to pick up chicks?
Is there any way to book this hotel online or any of these hotels?
What is the best way to book these places?

You might rent a phone right from the airport or your best bet is to bring your own unlocked gsm phone (1800to 1900 MHZ) and head to a Digicel store. Yellow cabs are available from the airport and picking spots are everywhere, only pros have special spots.

I lived in Haiti for two years and found that though creole is the local language, many of the WG have experience in the DR and do speak varying levels of Spanish.

Since I am guessing that you can't book the hotels online, will it be hard to book one when I get there and do they speak english? What hotel do you recommend?

I live here and don't think renting a car is necessary, if you don't mind befriending some dude off the street who's got a motorbike to take you on. Offer him a retainer of..i don't know...3-400/gourdes/hour to be at your disposal. A better one can take/guide you around to sites and driving these streets and traffic is just too dangerous and disorienting for a visitor. BadBear's hotel is a good spot to be, or you could spend more at El Rancho and find some action in the casino on a saturday, i am told. Badbear prefers waving at them right off the street, and they--incredibly really, and I live here--often come to him, not pros either. Now, not speaking any french or creole won't make it very easy for you, but hotel and some restaurant staff will understand. It's fun, and safer than its reputation, but don't dismiss security concerns. Haiti is shakier, i think, than it appears to be. And be Nice to the girls, okay?, 'cause they are to us, but don't entirely pamper and spoil them either.

call me and let me know what flight you are coming and I will intoduce you to Haiti. We are getting ready to set up a sight just for you new comers to Haiti. There are hungry girls out there needing to be fed in every hole.

You both provide very good information, useful information about the area.
La Isla.- You addressed one question I have had for a while. The language and that Creole being the dominate language.
Can one communicate with the ladies in English or Spanish?
Is Creole a twist of French (which I cannot speak)?
I am guessing that BadBear must speak some Creole?
I have traveled in Asia for some years and non being able to communicate does not bother me, aside from being able to negotiate or come to an understanding with a lady. I would imagine this language barrier makes it harder to bring in the non-pros, but not so difficult for pros standing on street corners as it is just a matter of agreeing to a fee with hand signals.
Secondly, La Isla I for one would definitely budget for and take advantage of have a network of people to help guide and look after my well being during a visit. Please keep us up-to-date as to how this progresses.

Wow, Bad Bear, I must confess my sincere admiration for you conquests and photography. You are my hero!!!
I have been to Sosúa a couple of times but I only really liked the Haitian girls. Thus, instead of going to Sosúa, why not go directly to Haiti instead of Sosúa? I speak French quite well and can even go by comfortably in Krèyol and so communication with the girls would be no problem. I will be going there in August for about 5 days (more is impossible, unfortunately). My only worry is having the contacts figured out as far as transport between the airport and the hotel. Security and safety also figure most highly for me since I don't know the place like you. I am sure that trailblazers like you will convince people like me to give Haiti a try.
I certainly hope that you will be around in August 2009.

That is certainly good news and a very, very, very long life to you!!!! I think that you may have helped kindle an intense interest in Haiti.

One question, where you are, is it the case that you just go down the street, eye a girl, call her over and ask her whether she'd like "to get down"? I really would like to meet girls like your "Nancy"!!!
Also, you have mentioned that one should not "be flashy". I suppose that means no Rolex watches, suits, or expensive jewelery but would nice Dockers and a Ralph Lauren or Lacoste shirt also be "too flashy" for Haiti and an invitation to be robbed, kidnapped, or worse? I am speaking out of ignorance.
