When ever you get approached by working girls at the clubs they give you all kind of promises but when they get to the action, they become lame. It is a good idea to cut them loose before the action or reduce the amount of money you had agreed to pay.

There are some alternatives to the Hilton, but with their *** they may be well overestimated. Last time I went to the Meridian Hotel on Bole Road. The rooms are large, quite clean, but the bathroom is far away from our western standard (and that of the Hilton). This Hotel is a good choice for me, because in smaller towns in Afica I often have to fight with some tiny itching guests in the bed.
Before leaving Ethiopia I generally take 2 nights in the Hilton. It's the time to be lucky in a clean bathtub and with a good breakfeast the next morning.
my finding is the Global Hotel.
Less than 60 US per night, clean, large rooms, although the plumbing is sometimes not up to spec.
Girl friendly, and of course the sauna & massage is a bonus!
There are quite a few decent hotels around addis. For those who don't want to pay the exhorbitant prices of hilton and sherton, imperial hotel is a good and decent place starting at 70 USD, have normally found girls hanging around in the lobby area after 8pm.
Hotels I have stayed in between 30 - 50 USD and which are quite decent and girl friendly.
Hotel de lepol
Atlas Hotel
Axum Hotel
Lalibela - Near the Airport
Emmad Appartments
Queen Sheeba
Imperial Hotel is another girl friendly hotel. They charge US$35-00 per night.
Here some notes about my recent trip to Ethiopia:
Sex i easily available everywhere, also in the small provincial towns, as many of the cheap hotels double as brothels. The girls found there are normally very young - in reality much too young, and their clients are the typical mixture of truck drivers and middle class townspeople, who share the motion that they have little or no respect for these girls - --- a very bad combination, if your goal is a genuine GFE experience and if you know African sex from other countries. I really was missing the West African freelance scene in this country! Ethiopian working girls are doing their job, but don't expect anything special - and forget about the genuine fun for good sex found in West African women.
As some of you have pointed out earlier, a solution to the problem could be - if time is no problem - to talk up any girl in the street at places like restaurants and pastry shops and hope for some real feelings. I had no time for that.
Remember, don't overpay the girls, just treat them well - which already means making a difference, I suppose. 100 birr for a LT was always fine according to my experience, and I even got a bunch of addresses which I might use again or not...
Attached is Hanna, a professional, who stopped me on the street in Kambolcha when I was returning from a bar - great, slim body and nice face and ok. in bed, but as pointed out above - no exceptional skills.
Ethiopia, a mongering destination? Let me think about it.
Afriborn,
I do not see any attachment. Would you please try again?
I agree with your idea of not over paying. Girls give many promises about different skills such as bj and daty but end up lame when coming to action. Just treat them with respect and $ 100 ET. Birr for LT is decent amount compared with what an average Ethiopian is making.
Bill kan
I am just trying again attaching my 2 pictures.
Ethiopia a mongering destination? No need to even think about it. I would love to travel around other regions and compare though. In Dubai I've had some Kenyans and a Ghanaian who really rocked. As for travel I've only been to South Africa and only had limited mongering there.
Anyway, Ethiopia's been great every day of each visit there. Then again I'm not real demanding of the girls I meet and I try to enjoy their company outside of sex. Hard to know for sure how much that makes a difference. But there was no time factor for working on the non-pros in the cafes. I've never been in Addis for more than 3 days at a stretch but thankfully it didn't matter.
Imperial Hotel: I stayed here once and it was just fine. You must have found quite a deal getting it for 35. I paid more like 65 or something. This place will be a little far out from the center for some people. One thing about this place is it's the hotel Ethiopian Airlines uses for stopover passengers. So there are possible womanizing opportunities with women from elsewhere in Africa. It could be a good chance to make those comparisons with 'dead' Ethiopian women. There's a bar here on the top floor that has a good view.
Axum Hotel: I didn't stay here but I know it's near 'My Pub,' which is sometimes mentioned as a good pickup place. I only went there once and didn't find anything.
Ethiopia Hotel: Also didn't stay here but I've heard some good reports about it. It's very central, just off of Churchill Road. I hope somebody stays here and makes a report.
Just arrived in Addis Ababa and went to buy a SIM card but the cost was a staggering 450 birr--anyone know of a cheaper way to obtain one temporarily?
Staying at Hotel Ethiopia but it's a dump and they won't allow company unless renting a double room. Crummy food and bad attitudes there. Will be switching to the Concorde tomorrow and post reports.
Global hotel is great! I prefer it to Imperial since it's more central to my work.
Nice rooms and half decent buffet breakfast. Then again I don't have very high standards. I usually pay USD 50 but that may be a special "loyalty" deal.
Also spitting-distancely close to Dome (concord). I suppose you could walk there if you wanted to. I'm too lazy, though and just spring for the 10 birr taxi..

Went to Concorde but they were full and recommended a partner--King's Hotel. Asking price was thirty seven but bargained to thirty with breakfast. Very classy marbel lobby and big clean rooms with sat TV. It's just down the street from Sudan embassy and African Union building. I checked Global and although the location to Concorde is better, Kings was a step above in quaility and is girl friendly.
Picked up a cute 19 year old slender SW who when questioned for price, stated, "No business." Took her back to Kings but she claimed to be a virgin and pointing to her pussy, kept repeating "Only brush" which I assumed was an act of masterbation. Upon fingering her, she did in fact appear to be virgin. She also adamantly refused BJ.
Just while wondering, where do we go from here, she jumped on top and tried for anal penetration--dry. Lucky for me, the KY was handy and after ten minutes of slow working in, busted a nut and sent her home. She returned last night as I was leaving and brought a chubby friend with big tits but I was in a hurry. She said she'd be back.
Hi, I have no fucking experience in Ethiopia. I know better west Africa.
I'd like to know if it is easy to stop regular girls (no prostitute) and have sex with them.
How much easy is it?
Thanx
Poturu ........ spend a little time reading back through the reports here.
You'll see that picking up girls in Ethiopia is very easy!
A smile in many cases is enough!
Hey guys,
I'm planning a business trip (well, mostly) to Addis. I'm searching for a short term/long term apartment, for monthly rental. The most important criteria is a clean apt. with NO BUGS. Particuarly bedbugs. I'm willing to purchase a NEW mattress is possible. Any info about CLEAN long/mid term apartments in Addis Ababa at a reasonable price would be very useful.
Thanks
