But Laos is a big country, there must be multiple other similar places. I hope some local mongers will eventually discover their location and share with the rest of us (which is how the original VV shacks were discovered).

Lots of Ladyboys.

Behind the Xieng Khouang Hotel, there's a nice massage place run by Vietnamese women. Had great results.

This is my first time in Laos and my first destination is Pakse.

I'm on a budget so ideally I'm looking for places that the locals would go. 200 k for FS and thereabouts. I've heard mention of "shacks" and KTVs? Do KTVs allow sex on the premises?

Having been in Cambodia, the brothels almost always have a small lit up massage sign out front, with a few women sitting outside. They're incredibly easy to spot at night.

Tonight I took a ride around Pakse but wasn't able to locate anything.

What am I supposed to look for at night? What do shacks look like? Any particular lights or signs? Girls sitting outside?

If you do not speak Lao, you need to find somebody who can bargain the price and conditions. The girls are unexperienced and not really interested in Europeans, as 99% of their clients are Chinese.

On the street leading from the city center in easterly direction towards the airport, there are a couple of Vietnamese massage places not far from the city center. Both I visited where on the northern side of the road (round about 20.41474899969523, 104.05468452568068). The mamasans speak enough English to get the message ("boom boom" They have rooms upstairs but LT is not much more and gives you an evening and early morning shot. Sam Neua Hotel (20.413466599996237, 104.04985165857218) did accept the guests without any hassle. I don't remember prices, around 10 $ ST and 15 $ LT.

Can someone guide me where to get some FS in thakhek? The massage places in the city centre seems legit and many doesn't have private rooms. I went to Mekong hotel at night too but no hints of prostitution happening there.

I went to BoBo Lao Massage today. The girl was medium (a lot of make-up on her face). She asked 1 millions kip (43 euros) and impossible to lower the price even to have just an handjob.

I refused and went to a standard massage place. The cute 18-20 yo girl gave me a nice massage but something was missing at the end.

I just went to the location suggested in vang vieng. There are few girls but they asked me for 800 k kip. It's of course foreigner price which I declined.

I am not sure why so few people have had success in VV. A small amount of persistence paid great dividends for me.

First, Honey massage has 2 shops, 5 minutes apart. Ask for sex and they will find someone for you, a selection. I paid 600,000-800,000 Kip (£22-30) for a couple of cute girls. BB with CIP for extra £7. The deed took place at the shop lower down the road. On massage floor mats with curtains separating, but the place wasn't that busy. Late at night the girls all sit outside the lower shop and you can choose.

Also, on the main road, just around the corner from Sakura bar are 2 massage shops with girls sitting outside. After 7 pm it is very obvious that sex is on offer. Same prices as above. Cute girls in late teens / early twenties. Private rooms in one of them.
