That's great news ! We'll try to check out as much as possible and post a FR. Is there any popular nightclub (discotheque type) in town ? We like to rave and party till sunrise and then get home with a couple of chicks.
I just hope that it'll be fine during christmas eve as well. On Christmas day (25th) we'll checking out from Arizona and proceed to Manila. I guess the only option there would be LA Cafe during that night as I read at another thread on this great forum ?

Well I'm also including the bars in Subic City (Calapandayan) just 2 km up the road. Five new ones have opened in BB the last six months including two owned by 'Mo' of Angeles fame. Yeah you should give it a try. Good mix of beach and bars!

Genuine problem here. Last trip- had fun with a friend of a friend. She is pregnant. Usual story. Quite likely to be mine. What is the cost of an abortion in Manila these days?
Anyone have advice?
Don't need lecturing about condoms or "is it really yours? " just need some accurate info about potential costs.

Don't know in Manila, but a friend of mine recently paid Php25,000 here in Davao, but that was to an actual doctor and for the post-treatment work as well.
My gf was pregnant . She lives in Zamboanga. Total cost of abortion is arpund 3500 pesos.
If you are interested in the breakdown of charges pm me and I will forward her e mail to you.
Never pay 25000 pesos. it is way too much. Maybe he meant 2500 pesos.

There are 2 pills she can take Mifepristone and Misoprostol together they have a success rate of 97%. Dont remember the prices but shouldnt be that expensive maybe. But 1st of all make sure that she really is pregnant. By using pregnancy tests the costs 25$ (if i remember correctly) so its very expensive for ordniary filipinas.
I can relate to ur situation ive had a smiliar experience with my filipina wife we had unnprotected sex twice and she got pregnant. She had only 6months until graduation but her school had a policy which meant she cant graduate if she is pregnant.
She only used 1 of them pills i think it was Misoprostol which has a 80% success rate and it worked. She used this pill 3 weeks into pregnancy.
But you and her have to know about the risks. My wife bled a lot after using this pill and she fainted due to the blood loss. This can be deadly if nobody is there for her. Having said this medical abortion such as this is used a lot in western countries as here in sweden.

I have notice some of you using smiley codes in your reports, but have not been able to find a reference for the codes. I know just a few basic ones, like wink ;) and big grin :D. Can anybody point me in the right direction for finding the reference list of these codes. I saw a new member on another part of the forum mention that they were not able to use smileys, and I want to offer them the reference list also.

If she was a little older and I was a little younger I'd probably "do the right thing" and take a gamble on a new wife but this is best for us both.

Since abortion is illegal in Phils the girl must procure the drug from just inside the church in Quiapo. One cannot bowl up to a drug store & buy it over the counter (in my experience).
IF the abortion drug works the girl WILL very likely need to have a medical procedure called a Dilatation & Curettage ( D 'n C in popular parlance).
In Manila the cost of the drugs + a good doc + a decent hospital + post op pain killers & iron tablets will cost the punter all of 25,000+

For me ease of use/stability of the phone operating system is my number one priority. Nothing worse than having a gee wiz smartphone that freezes in the middle of use requiring you to rip rip the back off & yank the battery out just to restart the thing.
Built in camera's typically range from 2 megapixel to 8 these days. The photography nerds will scoff but I have found a 2mpx camera is good enough for happy snaps & (ahem) more intimate pics. 5 or even 8 mpx camera's will give excellent results but not vital. Some camera's have no flash, a draw back in the boudoir, some have LED flashes which are ok for close up work & some have true xenon flashes which drain the battery but give the best results in low light.
I find the high end Sony Ericsson phones have decent operating system & very nice cameras eg K850i etc. I carried one of these around for a year & found it good.
High end Nokia's are well spec'ed but choose carefully as there are many models to choose from and many of those have dreadful operating system problems. N95 8gb model has good battery life, fast operation, good camera. Many of the other 'N' series phones have problems. I had a 6120c Nokia that was surprisingly good but the screen was much too small for me.
These days I use an Apple iPhone 3G because of the superb ease of use & excellent synching of contacts/calendars/music/photos etc to my Mac. I cant tell you how frustrating it is to use a smart phone heavily & then find your info is marooned on it because of synching incompatibilities. iPhone is not for everyone but I don't think I could ever go back to an old fashioned cell phone now after owning one..
