No; Samar (Northern or Eastern) hasn't evolved much beyond how it was 18 years ago when I first ventured there.

You have been to Samar before so I assume you remember that in such relatively small communities foreigners stand out and conservative girls are a bit skittish about being seen with a foreigner, and especially about being seen entering a hotel with him.

Tacloban is still stressed by the typhoon; you will not find it as laid back and accommodating as it used to be. It's a different place now.

I recognize that my position (nothing new, many years ago I also was shot down by phils regulars for asking questions as a newb without providing FR's) is a bit put-off-ish for newbs. And yes, we'd like to encourage more quality FR's. I see the dichotomy. I would rather the board Admin put a set of simple rules on each phils page regarding such (ie, like the stinking India threads). The problem is that having any swinging dick asking questions means they just come, then go. Worse, many of them are not really worthy of the answers they seek (they won't purchase a membership, which drives the board). I prefer to having them visit first, post next, then get cozy on the open board. Prior to that, they can get cozy in PM.

The issues about newbies asking or some senior members call it taking and not investing or giving reminds me of what must go on in some providers mind. The one trick pony rider (newbie) comes in blazing, wants it now and cheap with maybe a promise to provide something later. The provider is wondering why should I do this, I don't know you and you haven't really brought anything to the table. Nothing invested, not even a Hello, - how are you doing? Just give me what I want and see you later.

I can see both sides of the issues. It is kind of insulting when a newbie (especially if unpaid) says this is an information board, so just give it to me! The senior paid up members says FU, do your homework and contribute to the board or at least join. Kinda like telling the girl I have paid the BF now spread them. Even though this board is about getting fu*k, no one wants to feel like they got a fu*king.

I think there needs to be a little more romancing between the parties and maybe a softer touch.

I can also be much more detailed, with addresses and names and even phone numbers. I would NEVER put them o the open board.

Airlines fly to Calbayog as well. Before Asian Spirit and now Phil Air. I have chatted and met dozens of sex workers in Luzon from Calbayog and actually none from Catarman and only a few from Catbalogan. There is a huge pipeline of Calbayog area girls to AC Manila.

I always treat the girls with respect as my 'GF' I guess if it were a short term pure obvious prostitution exchange and the hotel was right in the middle of the girls barangay or close by it could be a big problem. Never encountered that situation. I always bring them at least a couple of jeeps from where they live at the minimum.

One thing I will comment about the Calbayog area of Samar that was different than any other province I have been is its rough and crude in the attitudes of the night time crowd in general. They were much more likely to catcall and make comments to the girl I was with than in similar situations in Mindanao or other parts of Leyte etc. The waray tribe seem to pride themselves on their toughness as hard asses. It wasn't threatening and always delivered with a smile but I am sure if I understood the language, which they obviously knew I didn't, it would be somewhat insulting at times.

It won't be the same as my last visit a few months before Yolanda. I am curious to see the change really. I am importing province girls from around there so I'm not too worried. A recovering Tacloban is still more advanced than 95% of Samar / Leyte I expect. I will know first hand soon enough.

Will be in AC next week and am thinking of visiting Tacloban early March. I think Tacloban is pretty well cleaned up and decent hotels and restaurants have opened back up. I really don't know so I would appreciate any information, advice and etc.

When people are discouraged from using the forum, that will make the usage hits go down and the forum will lose money as it won't be able to charge its advertisers more. In any event, as users we don't need to take a proprietary interest in the forum. Use it and have fun sharing info and being HELPFUL.

Arrived in Palawan yesterday and rented a motorbike (peso 600 per day). I spent the entire morning following my GPS to look for gyms but to no avail. I'm beginning to think there isn't one here. If anyone has any good info on one, please share.

Well, that's because you are way to early. No one shows up at those places until at least 9 pm. Try Phoenix near the entrance to the airport and next to the Hotel. Again, you are too early but the best place in PP.

And I recommend that you forget about finding a gym.

Buy hermetics 40 kg of tuna, 20 kg in 2 shopping bags and you have freeweights for biceps, triceps and breasts. And don't forget interval training in combination with pumping a small pinays pussy (I recomend 3 min pumping, 2 min rest (she can blow you or you can DATY), 6/7 repeats (while pumping in mish you can also incl push ups ofcourse). Abdomino, back and stamina is taken care off. No need for a gym.
