Actually 30 some chicas there. 6-8 daytime and 20-25 at night shift.
It's definitely not that many during the night shift. I was there 6 times this year and I've never seen 20 girls there at one time.
This. I just returned from a week at BB's.
Chris and Paul are very serious about turning the place around and it shows imo. Just seeing their interactions with the staff and girls is awesome. They've replaced the mattresses and pillows and are working on new food menus and drinks (smoothies).
The first couple days I was there I was disappointed with the selection but it improved significantly IMO. Did anyone here know you can rent the house across the street through them? I didn't. $142/ night - 3 beds, 2 bath directly on the beach.
Ate at 4 restaurants within 10 a minute walk. Sole Mio, El Carey, Mixema and I can't remember the name of the 4th one close by. In PP I highly recommend La Parrilla de Bohemios (can search google just for Bohemios Puerto Plata). Absolutely fantastic bbq for very low prices.
It's very easy to grab a cab to head out and about and see the area. Cabs are cheap imo. Typical example was three of us went to the BBQ. Ride there, he waited the entire time and took us back for less than $30. In the past I've headed out for a whole day with a driver and another pirate to Cabarete, Sosua, etc and it was approx $65 each. Full day out (8 am until about 6 pm).
Other people on here just because it doesn't fit their idea of the DR constantly crap all over BB's. I recommend you try it. Find out for yourself. I think you'll enjoy yourself.
Yes bohemios is nice. I've been there twice with a few guys and some of the girls. The last few times I was there, I decided to rent a car and it was one of the best decisions I've made. Easier to go get take out and not get stuck at the hotel. I drove to caberete and sosua without paying an arm and a leg.

I think I first decided to do it when I was staying in Sosua. We had rented scooters for like $35 per day. I realized it was only $14 per day to rent a car and I could drive wherever I wanted, so the next time I did that. Hell, the taxi from the airport was $20 and back to the airport $15, so it was a no brainer to rent a car to save that $35 alone. No GPS back in those days. It is a wonder how I made it to a lot of the back woods chicks' houses that I was going to back then.

I've been super busy ever since I got home. I haven't been able to write a review. I just saw somebody did the same thing I was going to do yeah Chris and Paul were very helpful with me. I had problems there in the past with the girls ripping off the customers you know I brought my own refreshments so to speak I hung out with two of the new girls, but other than that, I have my own girls that I brought over.
Yes, Chris and Paul are really ramping things up and I enjoyed the atmosphere. I'll probably be coming back in the near future. I was looking at maybe renting the house across the street as well as was mentioned in the previous post.

Paul was staying there Halloween when I was there.

Can you speak more about the current chica scene, prices, etc? Do the bikini parties still take place?

Some of the classic chicas are still there. Michelle, Kathy, Chyna (side note Chyna has imo gone insane with her body mods. She a caricature of Jessica Rabbit now) and a couple others I recognize but don't remember their names (it'd been two years since my last time there). The Mamasans (Hilda and Crystal?) have been there for than 5 years although they've have one of the girls filling from time to time now so they can take some time off.
Yes, the bikini competition, wet t-shirt comp and all other advertised activities are taking place. They were quite entertaining LOL.
Ted seemingly had cancelled these and just had pictures taken for the newsletter without actually holding the competitions.
Hope this helps.

The ladies were the primary factor. But there were other small pain in the ass things. Like dealing with the taxi mafia. I called an uber, and they boxed my driver in and threatened him. And the showers, which often had no water pressure. I wouldn't even think about going again unless the owners put out a newsletter with photographs showing enticing talent.
And I think the only reason I went that time, was because I still had great memories of this place near Cabarete called Oxygen. Its closed now, but in all my punting travels, I would put that place in my top five ever.

During the day some of them look like bums and they expect to be chosen. If they don't look presentable, I'm not choosing them.
My last 2 trips I rented a car and it made my life way easier. If you are not nervous about driving, renting a car is a good idea. I was out and about and meeting other females and taking them to the cabanas. You might pay a little more but it worth it because most of the blackbeards girls have no personality. They just want to hop on the dick and try to make you cum as quick as possible 😂.
Is anyone going for Superbowl? I'll be there in February for a week during Superbowl.

Totally different price point and experience and yes I have been to both.
