I proceed with caution about that.
When a chick ask me how old I am, I ask her how old is your dad?
The dad is almost always younger than me, I just tell her I'm older than dad.
You would see their faces, usually they don't find it funny.
The few times I have been in on the scuttlebutt with a clique of the hottest girls in a gogo bar or two, the kind of girls who are financially secure enough to pick and choose their customers and say no to anyone, anything and everything that does not please them to be with and do regardless of the baht amount, one stated goal among them is to never, never, never be caught fucking a man significantly older than their Dad and their Dad's friends.
That doesn't mean they wouldn't sneak one in on the sly. But it was generally regarded to be a Yucky assignment and to accept a barfine, leave with and be assumed to have fucked a man much older than their dad was sure to cause them a loss of Face in their particular clique. And I don't think that attitude is all that uncommon throughout Thailand.
Therefore, when they ask, I tell the girl to guess my age and, sure enough, their guess is often around the same age I calculate could be their Dad's age; let's say 55 tops for a 25 year old girl. At that point she is probably hoping I will say "Yes, that's about right. " And so I will then smile and say, "Yes, that's about right" even though it is off by 15 years.
But at least she asked, I answered, she could quote that number to her friends on the way out and my answer was acceptable enough for her to dismiss the Yuck factor that otherwise could cloud her mind and decision to be seen leaving with me to fuck or not.
They can't measure either
We probably can assume much of the time they lowball "guess" a number in order to flatter us. But I also suspect they have been told by 70 year old farang men that they are 50 often enough that they have a skewed image of what a 50 year old farang actually looks like. LOL.
And most of the time their 50 year old Thai dad (and mom) looks a hell of a lot older than most 50 year old farang tourists they encounter.
Add this to the fact that hey keep being told that 5 CM is actually 15 CN and no wonder they walk around looking confused. LOL.

Purchasing Shoes and other tails of woe
Remember, guys, the purpose of this board is to provide information to one another.
In that spirit look at the knowledge that Allover has provided us:
The topic of how difficult it is to buy shoes in Pattaya has come up recently in several threads. I know this can be particularly challenging for people new to the city as residents or visitors. I want to recommend the Moo Chuu shop on the 2nd floor of Terminal 21. Moo Chuu custom makes flip flops usually while you wait. You choose from an extensive selection of straps and soles in different types and colors. You can google the Moo Chuu website to see what I am talking about. I took a girl there and bought her a pair of flip flops. She loved the store and enjoyed making her own design.
Thank you Allover for the information on where you can buy flip flops or even have them custom made. I only wear flip flops when: I am on the beach, near the pool, or in a public shower.
I stopped wearing flip flops in Thailand after I saw some Thai Guy on Rama 4 after a motorcycle accident with his foot split right down the middle to his ankle. Then there was the girl in Cambodia I saw about six years ago With her foot rotting from a simple wound. Closed toe sandals Are one less way To ruin Your time here.
It begs the question, your time where? Cambodia or Thailand?
In the the meantime he can't figure out where or how to buy a pair of shoes.
Actually I have two ways of buying shoes. 1. Ask ATF to do it for me. 2. Goto Mikes Mall. If you use the Beach road entrance right after you enter the malll, make a right and you will find a lovely shop with a large number of name brand athletic shoes among others.
I have a foot condition from birth. My podiatrist has advised me to continue to wear sturdy athletic shoes. My preference is New Balance and he agrees it is a good choice. But since I have been here (Pattaya) I have also found that the Baoji Brand here in Thailand to be of high quality and at a better price point.
This lower price point allows me to continue to sponsor my girls that do not have husbands or boyfriends. I would never sponsor a girl with a husband or a boyfriend. Of course I do not have access to Jedi Mind Tricks or Vulcan Mind Melds in order to determine if they are lying too me. So I guess I will just continue to make newbie mistakes while living the good life sipping my Sangsom and soda.
It should be noted that I have one additional way to buy shoes provided by Allover. At this rate I actually might actually learn enough to have people stop calling me a newbie and be able to provide my own useful information for others. ROTFLMAO!
I don't have any doubts that SubCmdr has been to Thailand
Interestingly enough, I took Allover's information and used it for my benefit. So I have to give the (compound profanity redacted) his due.
My gik was so excited about our trip to Moo Chuu. She had a tough time deciding which style to choose and so because I am a straight baller and shot caller I told her to get two pairs. She was happy with the initial design and changed out of her pair that she wore into the mall to wear one of the pairs I bought her out of the mall. It cost me 550 Baht. That should be doable for even those experiencing severe resource scarcity. It is not like you have to compete with Koreans. The price are fixed for everyone. As they say, a picture is worth 1000 words. LOL!
I goto work!
Get the fuck out of here with your male bovine excrement!
I didn't buy my condo for an investment, I bought it to avoid paying rent.
I will break even on my investment in a couple of years.
The absolutely best return of investment I have found is on Thai Style condos. That is 10 years. Farang style condo forgetboutit.
Maybe if you bought you condo 10 years ago or during COVID. Couple of years my ass!
Besides, in my opinion that is unintelligent reason to buy a condo. I can buy three condos for the cost of the one I am currently renting. Those three condos will provide twice as much rental income as I need to pay rent on the where I live.
Another reason I don't take financial (or tax advice) from International Tricks. Most of you don't know a thing about International Tricking or investing.
