If he admitted the first murder, wouldn't he be extradited to Aruba instead of the US?

Rather then wait the two months for extradition, I heard, they are just going to
dump him on the border with Peru/Chile and "see what happens". Frontier justice calls for setting him ablaze and hanging him, but that would be to Humane!

Peru's got him, and he's not going anywhere. Well....hell perhaps.

The trip did not start as well as I expected. My flight arrived shortly before 9 pm and I was supposed to meet girl #1 later that same night. While shopping for some supplies (vodka, juice, beer, water, etc.), I have received a call around 11 pm that she won't be able to make it. Oh, well

Girl #2 showed up the next day at noon. A very tiny girl, she joked with me about her age (I hope I can trust David on this). We used an online translator to communicate and, when my notebook would not work (no signal where we were sitting), she really surprised me by taking out her own small netbook. Accommodation

I chose to rent a 3-bedroom apartment on the Malecon not far from Larcomar (thanks, David, for your help with choosing this place). Not the cheapest way to stay in Lima but the building was very secure (almost too much – my first visitor had a really hard time getting to my apartment; after that the security guys knew what to do with my guests), I had a panoramic view of the ocean and the coast, and all the girls seemed to have liked it.

Taxi

I used Taxi Lima Peru ([url]http://www.Taxilimaperu.com/[/url]) for both my airport runs. I submitted a reservation request over their web site while still at home. Renato called me on my US phone to confirm the whole arrangement, and again later on my local Lima phone to confirm my trip back to the airport. At $19 each way I spent a bit more but I felt secure and I did not have to worry about possibly missing my flight.

Phone

My Claro phone number remained valid since my March trip but it did not work until I managed to get it re-registered (I had to give them my name, passport number and the phone number, and they took care of it). I did that at the Claro store right at the airport next to the departures upstairs. The store seems to be open either very late or maybe even 24 hours and the whole process took approximately 15 minutes. And surprisingly I kept my leftover credit from my previous trip.

Girls

I left my "program" up to David. He asked me what I wanted to do and when, he warned me that having a late night session was not such a good idea, but then he went ahead and arranged it anyway when I would not listen. And when it blew up in my face, he was able to arrange a "replacement date" for me. I realize there are some other places available in Lima (TR, Pizza Alley, Las Cucardas, Trocadero, etc.) and that some of them might be quite a bit cheaper, but his friends are simply amazing. On this trip all of them provided GFE sessions, they seem to be quite intelligent and were really anxious to satisfy me. If only one of them did not bail out on me twice.

The only problem was my Spanish –with one exception the girls don't really speak any English. I am trying to learn but it is a slow process. There is always some down time with the girls (at least for me – at my age I have certain limits and I need a break between rounds), some of them wanted to go out with me, and not being able to talk to them is limiting the overall experience.

This place is really something. I have already booked another trip for later this year and I am trying to squeeze in another one. And as long as David is willing to help me I might keep coming back.

Jaimito is correct, he wouldn't be extradited to the US because he never broke a US law on US soil. Even though it was an American citizen the US has no direct power over this case.

Well Juan, they don't post names because I request them not to. The girls I introduce aren't girls working in Privados in BsAs with fake names. The American citizen being referred to was Natalee Holloway, not Van der Sloot.

In any case, there is now a charge under U.S. Jurisdiction - the alleged extortion by Van der Sloot against the Holloway family. But no doubt that is a secondary issue to the homicide in Peru, and, were Aruba to charge him, a homicide in Aruba.
