Well, regarding your request, most salons provide such services, although the last married couple report I've read was some years ago. It's been a while since I contributed a report on ISG so I thought I'd break the drought.

I had a free afternoon here in snowy St. Petersburg and I've been meaning to try out the places that Quagmire1974 wrote about a few months ago- Nezabudki on Nevsky Prospekt and Mariza on the Fontanka Canal. I'd like to thank Quagmire for his report and his perfect directions. I've attached some photos for each establishment- first of the entrance to each courtyard, then the door entrance, and finally the bedroom for each place (Nezabudki- Nevsky Prospekt first and then Mariza- Fontanka). Hopefully, this will help some mongers out there further find these places, however, Quagmire's directions are so good, I doubt you'll need the photos. Both places are not upscale at all.

Please note that I checked these places in the early afternoon on a Saturday. I first went to Nezabudki, located in the courtyard right across the street from Marketplace restaurant (please note there are several Marketplace restaurants throughout St. Pete so make sure you don't confuse them if using as a landmark). I arrived around 1:45 pm and was led into a bedroom just as Quagmire mentioned. I was shown 3 women, however, none were very appealing (on my rating scale two were "5's" and one possibly "6", although I am rather particular). They were heavier that I prefer. The lady working there said they charge 3500 rubles an hour (about USD $60) and that after 5 pm there would be a few more girls. When I told her what type of girl I was interested in (thin and late teens / early 20's), however, she said they wouldn't have anyone like that available until Monday.

Thus, I decided to pass on Nezabudki and I arrived at Mariza on the Fontanka Canal a little after 2 pm. Again, the directions by Quagmire were great and I was led into a bedroom again. I was shown 2 women who were substandard- I'd rate them as "4's". I was quite disappointed but the lady said it was too early and that more women would be working after 4 pm. As I was putting my shoes back on, the madam returned and said another girl was suddenly available. I'm glad to see that the system I described back in June 2017 in my trip report is still in place.

And I absolutely tip my hat to you for your awesome pictures, as they are a great complement to my trip report. And this is the way the ISG forums are supposed to work. ISG member Cucumber and others laid the foundation by talking about salons in SPB. I RTFF, used their information to monger, and then brought back hyper-specific information in my trip report. You then took my information a step further and posted pictures, which, I have to say, made me feel like I was back in SPB.

I noticed that you mentioned in a previous post on ISG that you are actually living in SPB, having moved there in 2017. Frankly, I'm jealous, since SPB has multiple museums like the Hermitage, a wide variety of restaurants serving high-quality food, and an easy-to-access mongering scene. Being a resident of SPB, you have the very real potential of greatly expanding the knowledge base of mongering in the city. So my challenge to you is this: Markiza and Nezabudki have multiple locations across SPB, but I only described one of each in my trip report. If you could detail the other Markiza and Nezabudki locations in future trip reports, that would be awesome and would be a massive service to mongers heading to SPB.

Early May should be a nice time in Petersburg. A lot of light but before the worst tourst crunch sets in. But be aware that even then hotel prices may shoot up and availabilty go down.

You definitely need a SIM card and its very easy to get. Get it at the airport so that its done with. Get one with a lot of data (10-20 GB) so that you can use it for navigation etc. And make sure it has high connection speed throughout the period you will use it.

I speak Russian so I am not so experienced when it comes to dealing with interpreting. Not all hotel staff will help you with such matters, they may be disgusted or just not service minded. So you would need to get lucky and friendly with someone.

Yes you definitely need a reliable English-speaking driver. If you found a good one he could replace hotel staff. I don't know anybody, but some smart Russian should get into this. It could be a great little business.

Dear fellow mongers I would like to share with you my bad experience in St Petersburg.

(This seems to be a Spb scam because in Moscow it never happened to me).

I was browsing on local Tinder when I matched with a gorgeous 29 year old girl. I am 50.

Very quickly she gave me her WhatsApp number and she told me that tonight she goes out for a drink with a female friend.
