Geez, a small bottle of cheap wine for a lady is $33. Fortunately, the lady I was with was a slow drinker.

Great comment.
Reading the girls and what kind of loca they are is a very useful skill. I love getting the ficha and interviewing the hotties.
One key is to have no problem tossing a chica back and getting another one. Every time I let me eyes have too much input I miss out on a girl who is way out of my league and a loca in bed.
The 7 or 8 hottie who is a loca in bed is superior to the 9 or 10 boring sex experience.
You can always ask but I never do. I buy them a drink and roll the dice. Usually with her vibe downstairs during the ficha I will know if she is GFE or not.
Sometimes I miss but I have gotten pretty good at reading them. The only way to guarantee GFE is escorts, with bar girls even if you negotiate upfront it is hit or miss: I have a mate who complains that even if he asks for "trato de novio" and they agree after asking for extra, a lot don't deliver and play dumb in the room. Best bet is to just learn to spot the fun girls, it is an essential skills in this game.
We greeted each other happily and I told her she can order a fecha, I didn't want to drink. When hers came it was a nice glass of cold water for $11. I had blood rush to my face, I paid and walked away.
$200 is riduclulas.
For $125-$150 you can have a nice escort come to your hotel for a full hour. Who are the dum dums paying these prices??
I'll be checking out the escort scene next time I'm in town for sure for this reason.
The girls work on HKs time. When you start talking to them, you are supposed to pay the girls and the bar by buying fichas. HK is not the Red Cross with hot, sexy nurse for free.
Your friend had to drink something, but she did not want calories, therefore water. It's fair, not abuse.
The worst fichas abuse is at Travel bar in Jakarta. Girls would swarm over you begging you to buy 1 ficha, then quickly pressure you to buy 10 from waiters who carry trays of 100 shot glasses. They were all tea, looking like whiskey. Girls would knock them down quick then disappear. You are out of $80 in a blink. That boils my blood. I would never buy drinks for any Travel girl again.
OTOH Classic bars in Jakarta are fair. They serve the same drinks to guys and girls at same prices. Girls would sit with you pleasantly for 15,20 min with kisses and gropes. Had the sexiest times with hot, gentle girls in Classic.

Maybe I'm just getting old and picky but the Zona Norte has become dirty, seedy, noisy, annoying and the girls have a lot more mileage on them. Many of the escort girls have real jobs or are business owners so only doing the escort job part time to make extra money.
For me the SG's and bar girls are used up, tired, have trauma, mental and emotional issues, cold demeanor, jaded etc.
It works for me because I'm usally in Tijuana for 3 to 5 days at a time and its fun to take a nice dressed pretty women who does not look like a hooker out to dinner before going to hotel to hang out.
So? You're paying for her time, not for the alcohol. What difference does it make what she drinks?
Paying $11 for a glass water did not feel good, in the moment. Also I had no plan to stay with her, I was passing by. It is disrespectful in the part or HK and bad showing. They should not sell a glass of water for $11 no matter what. In this situation bartenders should bring that little beer together with the water. Maybe he put one aside to sell later, for all I know.
Give it a try, you will know what I mean.

Except for the damn mosquitos that kept coming into my room from the air conditioner I had a decent stay. I only bought bintang for myself and the girl I chose at travel. I got her number for a TLN on a future trip. I might stay at Travel and visit classic next time just to see if the rooms are any better / different.

Personally, I don't care what they choose to drink. I'm all for them limiting their alcohol consumption. IMO far too many girls wind up as overweight alcoholics after a few years.

I have seen many abuses against me and other mongers in the past, and yes I too, don't like it when the girls get themselves drunk silly. Hate it when their mouths smell like beer. Either way one look at it, it doesn't feel right paying $11 for a glass of water sitting there. There are things you just don't do to your customers as a business. If you do, shows the contempt you have for them.
I would rather hand her the money one by one, while talking to her, standing somewhere cuerpo a cuerpo. In fact that is my favorite pass time there, I rarely buy fechas / fichas.

That's why I always question if any of you go out in the real world or is the only time you spend in HK. HK could care less if you buy water or beer since the profit is the same. Also if you know just the very basic of Spanish you can easily understand the difference between the word "agua" and "cerveza". So if you here the girl order "agua" you can easily say no that you will only buy her a "cerveza". Thus making yourself not look like a petulant child.
In this case the only person you should be upset with is yourself for not knowing the language and when the water arrived you could of refused. Some guys have claimed that some bars serve water in the beer bottles which is why the girls can drink so many. I've never experienced this but it's been a rumor for many years. So would that make you feel better to buy water that you think is beer? Also the girl is the one that ordered it so you could be upset with her but HK is the last one you should be complaining about.
If you go to a restaurant and the girl orders some expensive item do you get mad at the restaurant for having that item on the menu at the price that they do?
I can't read his crap, thank God.
They don't order beers or even alcohol for 2 reasons:
1. They need to keep working and if they get too drunk they can't keep working.
2. The beers will make them fat- since if there are many customers who keep ordering beers it adds up the calories.
Now if you pay their salida - $400 for the night they will drink a lot so that they don't have to fuck you the whole night LOL.

Their job is to go around the internet and stonewall discussions about some of the feces this club does to its clients. There are good things HK does, I like the club. There is no denying though they can be utterly disrespectful in some of their actions.
