Been noticing increased LE activities in Spas and also SB's. It seems more tougher times are coming ahead. The other day happenned to be passing by Dahisar, and noticed few more bars have faced BMC's bulldozers. Don't know if this kind of activity conducted is to remove the extra spaces that the SB's have occupied (Extended front portions), or was it because they wanted to rid the area from SB's.

Whatever they may be, Its best to tread safe, and stay away from SB's for some time.

Been also researching about mongering laws in the country, and have only managed to get a fair idea. Maybe my research was not good enough. Would urge seniors to throw some light into the this.

Few months ago, I stumbled upon an article which stated that running a show (SP's Den's Etc) and forcing someone into the trade was illegal, but being a customer was not. Somehow cannot find that article. But one article I checked out yesterday states that apparently there is a section 5 A in the IPC which goes against us all. But when you search for details on that law, we cannot get any results.

Maybe someone can enlighten all of us, so that we know our rights, and also know what can be done if caught in a situation.

Lets hope our city that never sleeps doesn't end up like some cities in the south. .

Yaar you are making a mistake by calling them service bars (SB), they are known as pickup bars / disco bars / dance bars but not service bars. Service bars are where you can fondle the girl and get an HJ. There are no service bar on western lines.

Normally if you are caught they will let you go with some fine or bribe. But if you try to teach them law, they are capable of booking you under any clause you may not be aware of. BTW all PSIs undergo some law training and they know how to misuse it. You finally may come out w / o any serious charges etc. But it will cause you mental and financial pain. One day I was sitting in car with my GF in a lonely spot at Airoli. We were just chatting. I just kept my hand on her shoulder and that moment 2 cops came on bike and asked me to get out. Each one talked to me and my GF separately and tried to verify the info. Luckily our version was same. But still they took us to near police stn. Then they have a typical approach.
