Brasil prices apart from terma's seem to be really good, better than Germany or Thailand right now. I'll be keeping my eyes open as I will be out of work in June and will be looking for some fun before I rejoin the grind.

It takes months of tests on experiement vaccines before making available for public use.

If memory serves, it was during the Sarney years where programas began coming in, by Collor's time when it was total programas. 1989 was a very momentous time in Brazil, the election was going on, a lot was happening with things coming into the open.

I'd been there many times during these early years and never met a GDP. In Copacabana in general there were many GDP's but not in Help, the girls for the most part hung out in the many restaurants / cafes along ave. Atlântica like meila pataca and Mabs but all of them, also in the Lido area. Eventually after the late 80's slowly but surely they infiltrated Help and the regular crowd never showed up anymore but it didn't happen overnight by the mid 90's it was totally taken over.

Myself and 2 friends of mine have traveled to DR and Cartagena already. In my opinion I really enjoy the club atmosphere that is very similar to Dolce Vita / Space in Cartagena, or DrinkPoint in Punta Cana. Are there any clubs similar to that where the girls in the nightclub are all 8's-10's and available? Reading about 20 pages of the Rio forum it seems like the only option is some place called Mabs. After that it is straight to brothels and termas.

It's more of an outdoor restaurant cafe setting with hookers milling about.
IMO, there’s a lot of not so hot girls, but usually at least several hotties about, at least after about 1030 or 11 pm.
However, the after party scene at Doce Vita, just down the street is more upbeat, and generally with better looking girls.
Starts at about Midnite to 1 am.
The Termas would be a fun place for you guys as well.

Scandallo is tops and worth every penny. Exactly the format you describe — nightclub full of 8-10 often 150 girls and rooms onsite.
Many of us who have done the world (but I admit not Colombia yet) consider Scandallo the top pick worldwide.

For me and my tastes, Brazil is the easy winner. Hands down.

The nightclub scene is much better in SP.
I'm more of a Rio guy.
I really enjoy hunting for the beautiful favela mulatas, however, outside the favela, LOL.
Rio is fun, however, SP for the club scene is on a way higher level.
And, much more $, but for the guys that enjoy that, well worth it they say.
I've done it all in SP as well, I'm just not a big night club, high $ type guy.
I find my Lovin in other ways. 😉
