i'm "on this thread" because i travel to bangkok often, either on business or on the way to somewhere else. i simply said i wouldn't go there specifically for mongering.

i gave my opinion, which is counter to the one some other members said about bkk being "great." i think it's far from great. what's wrong with some balance? i'd rather give newbies my honest feelings so they can compare and contrast and figure out if they want to make the trip. i'd hate for anyone to be as disappointed as i was when i arrived in phnom penh after reading nothing but positive reports online for a decade.

I have been reading this for a while and probably should stay out of it, but..... . I understand everybody isn't going to llike it, still I don't remember anybody posting so many negative opinions as you have in this as well as other threads. Now I am not going to respond to any posts reguarding this post but I must say you seems to have bad experiences every where you go. I did not look back on your other posting, but every time I see your posting I am sure it will be nagative. Tells us some good news, can you?

I have been going to Thailand for more years than I care to admit. Much has deteriorated (smog, crowds, prices) but as I end my autumn trip (and plan my winter one) I look back (sex bit)

I fully agree on this. Too many taxi drivers try to cheat or rip off thinking a farang is a tourist and a tourist deserves to be ripped off as still cheaper price than at home. I find annoing their attempts and I think they a bit stupid when they reject rides of 1-2 km thinking htey do not earn enough, or thinking that the metter will go above the min fare. They probably prefer to do rides shorter than the min fare. Taxi should not be allowed to reject rides (unless for serious reasons, but there is never as such when from soi 4 you wsant to go tosoi 22 or 30 or so.)

Lines are everywhere in the work in rush hours.

I'd rather give people an honest perspective.

My "negative posts" lately consist of pointing out how overpriced and generally unattractive Phnom Penh is and that I don't personally plan to visit BKK for the intentions of mongering anymore. Oh and maybe the review of Dr. BJ's Nuru.

In AC there's a nice ongoing discussion from guys who say they want to pay more than the going rate, even after it turns out they've never even been to the place. My posts in Japan, S Korea, HCMC, Pattaya, HK, Macau, etc, are mostly reports, including the introduction to quite a few new places to the board that I could have easily kept to myself.

If you're staying around Sukhumvit they're not as easy to get to as some places, although the subway has made massage places on Ratchadapisek more accessible. The women are however more attractive on average than Annie's, and the facilities are much larger and nicer. They'll typically have a lot of women sitting behind a glass wall, sometimes segretated into groups, according to price or services offered. And also sideline women or model lounges where you meet the women in a setting more like a cocktail lounge. Either way, talk to the mamasan or papasan. They'll have ones who speak English. And tell them which girl you'd like to do. You can visit with the sideliners / models a little before making a commitment. You may be able to do the same with the ones from the glass bowl, although I never have. You can have a drink or drinks while you're looking and when you go to the room. Starting with massage or jacuzzi is typical followed by sex.

Read the thread btw. And you want to go at the right time. For example, at Poseidon, when I went, pickings were pretty slim late in the evening.

Nothing wrong at all with the bts / mrt system in BKK. Relatively fast clean and efficient.

The only problem occurs when you have over aggressive tourists who like to bang their way through crowds with reckless abandon. I witnessed a little Chinese tourist who thought she was Adrian Peterson and ran over a fat farang lady. LOL.

An interesting story. A guy wanted to marry an MP girl, but she was quite young and not ready for settling down at all.

He then wrote some very negative reports about her on some sex forum (probably not this ISG one). Motive? Either to get revenge or to try to stuff up her business or just jealousy. I'm not sure.

Reports on a forum are not always to be believed. You have to consider the state of mind of the writers. Plenty of bullshit going around. Sometimes very negative reports can come from a rival establishment maybe. Sometimes a positive report can be self promotion. Always best to consider the long term credibility of the writer, but even that is no guarantee.

So to all the newbies on the forum. Realise that experienced readers will treat your reports with suspicion, assuming bias is a strong possibility.

Went to Check Inn last night. The Philippino live band is very impressive. One guy and 3 pretty girls. I don't think they speak Thai but speak English well. Song requests can be made for anything where the backing music is not too complex. I went there with a hot girl with a great figure.

Was very busy with some group holding a Christmas party. This caused the songs selection to be somewhat older era than usual on average, but my girl's modern requests could be met well. One tallish Thai girl in the Christmas party group was reasonably good looking and dancing somewhat more sexily than usual. I thought she had probably had a few drinks and was feeling hot for it and acting very close to a tall Farang guy.

Last time I was in BKK I was in a mall that had a sh*t load of knock off watches. I want to say it was on the second floor almost looked like a flea market inside. Mostly electronics and watches. I'm looking for some good knock off watches. Can someone point me in the right direction?
