FYI.
Hotel masseuse is 35. Very pretty but her ass is a little bog for my tastes. Offered HJ for 500,000. Massage was one of the best I've ever had.

I just want to add a shout out for the newer Movenpick hotel, right next to Emporium. It hasnt gotten much attention here, probably because its on the higher budget end. I stayed there earlier this month and got to give it a full 10 in terms of quality and location. Its a brand new hotel with spotless rooms, great breakfast n (pricey) food options in house and more budget friendly ones nearby, impeccable service, and lobby on 2nd floor so you can avoid walk of doom (except for night guard). Its perfectly situated, literally 30 seconds walk to Emporium and 8 minute walk to Classic, although there are a few freakies walking around the neighborhood at night.
A couple things stand out here: First, for anyone who values daytime and early evening chillin or bringing your girl to the pool, the pool area is friggin fantastic, with lots of lounge chairs in and out of the sun. Its practically empty most of the time, and theyre just finishing a new poolside bar. Only downside is it closes a bit early at 8.
Another thing is the hotel has a really nice coffee shop and adjoining dessert cafe that offers free fancy chocolate sampling later afternoon for hotel guests. Yeah I know most of you grotesque mf's don't give a shit about chocolate, but think of the cheap date possibilities for late afternoon coffee and choco before heading up to the room for a romp session. It might just help seal the deal for some chick with princess tendencies that you don't otherwise want to spill big bucks on.
Like I said, its not cheap normally see. USD150 a night, but that's not bad compared to more expensive lux hotels. And you can find deals on Agoda etc. That bring it under $100 a night. I got a nice queen room on a high floor for $95, so was worth it for a week. Didnt try any massage do cant comment on that.
Just another option for any aging farts like me who want a bit of Swiss style calm and pretend to be civilized during daylight hours.
Thanks for the FYI on the hotel massage. Was this in room massage, or did you go to their spa?
Maybe next time you will get a therapist with a normal ass and big tits!

A lot of regular (non-p4p) girls unfortunately need some type of excuse, for themselves included, if they are to meet at one's hotel. For those that don't like the swimming pool, a sophisticated chocolate tasting with various imported chocolates sounds like a marvelous alternative.
Has anyone stayed at Sparks Life Mangga Besar? The location appears to be excellent, with numerous bars nearby and within walking distance of Hotel Travel and Lokasari. I've previously stayed at the Holiday Inn and Novotel Gajah Mada, had no complaints, but considering this hotel for my upcoming stay.
I have never stayed here but seen this Hotel many times when commuting on Jalan Mangga Besar.
I agree - the location is A+.
Most likely, Sparks is better than Luminor Kota which is on the opposite side of the street from Sparks.

Thinking of trying this instead of the usual HI on my trip later this month. Some reviews said all facilities were not yet opened and internet was not stable. I assume these teething issues are over now? I like collecting Accor points and although its a few bucks a night (30 or so) more than HI for my short 4 night trip its a definite possibility. I like the idea of walking distance to both Emporium and Classic that's 95% of mongering anyway. Not that the grab was ever an issue even staying at HI.
Hi,
I'm going to Jakarta in October. Taking a domestic flight after international arrival and vice verso, so a 'safety night' in an hotel closeby. 1 night on the way in, one night on the way out.
I see FM7 probably has no more spa action or am I reading it wrong? That would be the easiest solution if it still exists. Any other suggestions near the airport with the possiblity of some action in room?
I took the train from the airport once, but I don't know if I'll find a suitable hotel near the airport train stations.
It's just for a night so I don't want ot break the bank (no absolute dumps eighter) and want to avoid long taxi rides.
Thanks.

Massage was one of the best I've ever had.
Decided to stay here for 2 days by reading your recommendation. I asked the gentleman in the front desk if he can set up appointment for massage and he was hesitant and kindly tell me that I should do it from my room. Called reception and transfer me to spa. Someone from.
Spa answered and asked if I want the massage now or later and told her now. Waited for about 10 minutes and heard a knock in the door. Peep through the peeping hole and saw a girl wearing traditional Indonesian dress. Opened the door and she came in. Did a little chit chat here. Told her I wanted the 60 minutes massage. She proceeded to put a sheet on top of the bed. Got naked in front of her and she didn't like it one bit. She look mid 30's, about 5'- 5'2", pretty nice racks and ass from her tight dress. Massage was excellent, she got the knots on my shoulder. I didn't get any extra though, but would definitely get her again for massage. My room facing Emporium and I can hear the loud music till early morning hahaha.

+ Did you ask for "extras" and she refused? Or you never asked?
+ You are supposed to be naked during the massage. Correct?
Don't understand why she did not like when you undressed in front of her.

~BKK
I didn't asked, her massage was too relaxing that I didn't bother asking. Funny thing though, as I was coming out from the elevator to go to indomart, I saw her along with another masseuse and we made eye contact and she said Hi to me.
Yes, you're supposed to be naked. I didn't know since this is my 1st getting a in room massage.
Hi I spend most of my time in Jakarta and have enjoyed stays at the holiday inn hotel in most notably has the most impressive breakfast buffet I've ever experienced and not that expensive and has an outdoor swimming pool. Cost per night is £50.
Any recommendations for a Manila equivalent it doesn't have to be near the action. Excellent breakfast is priority.
Orchardz hotel probably an option.

I stayed at Sparks Life on Mangga Besar for five nights. I really wanted to like my stay at this hotel, as there were things going in its favor: ARTOTEL Curated brand, great location, friendly staff, an onsite massage service, swimming pool, and a breakfast buffet, trendy lounge that turns into a karaoke and live music bar at night. However, the rooms, even the executive ones I stayed felt quite basic, more like those in a budget hotel. The hallway carpet was smelly, dirty and stained, bathtub shower is unsafely high to get in out, outdated power plugs, and my room's A / see wasn't cooling properly, it even clogged and leaked a couple of times during my stay. In retrospect I should have stayed at Luminor Kota across the street which is a notch above than this.
However, it's definitely a girl friendly hotel, I was able to bring a girl from Lokasari with no issues. I tried their on-site massage offered by one of their four pretty girls standing next to reception. I chose the 90 min package for 300,000, plus tips. No extras, but the massage in itself is good even though offered on the bed.
On one of their Karaoke nights at their Exito bar, three FL girls in 30-35's came by and wanted to join me for drinks. I liked one of them and told I would be open to have a drink just with her, but she spoke limited English, and the other two insisted they join her as well for translation. I felt that these FLs are brought in by the hotel staff, cause one of the bar girls standing by to take drink orders right of the bat. I didn't want to get conned by them and so politely declined their invitation, and they went back to their tables.
Luminor Hotel Pecenongan is another option, its literally next door to Emporium and its under $50, I haven't stayed there but hotel is looking good, and I may consider this one to stay. There is also Grand Mercure Harmoni and its 15 minutes walk.
