Visiting Istanbul under elections
Hi all!
I am considering to spend 2-3 days in Istanbul in the next cpl of months.
Last time I visited, it was end of Ramadan, unfortunately, with most clubs closed and slower activity.
I am wondering if visiting Istanbul in the next cpl of months, given the political stress and elections coming, may be another bad opportunity. Maybe before these elections there may be some cleanup?
Years ago, I visited a Central America country before political elections and everything was like frozen. (Turkish fellows, I am not comparing your country to Central America! :-) I am just remembering an experience)
I would be grateful if local mongerers might share their impression about this.
Best regards to all.
