Landed at Suvarnabhumi around 11. 45 am and checked in at the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit around 1. 15 pm. Cannot understand why so many people complain about Immigration and customs or slow transportation in BKK.

He is on the third floor about in the middle and close to where the escalators come up from the second floor. Phone is 081 657-9829. He is an amazing man and runs the shop with his sister. It is a small shop but at least he is honest and backs up everything you buy from him. I think I have been dealing with him for over 15 years.

the mtr in hong kong is cheaper, more extensive, more efficient. it's 6 times longer in track length, has about 4 times the number of stations, moves about 7 times the number of daily riders, at much faster average speeds, and yet is still cleaner and more reliable. no daily breakdowns or mile-long lines for coins (coins, in 2012!) that i've ever seen in a decade of using it. and it's 3 decades older.

anyway i'm not going to get into a pages-long dispute about the public transportation system in bangkok. i simply gave the reasons i think it's not really a mongering destination of choice. the rip off taxis and poor public transportation is only part of it. apparently i'm not alone, as some have agreed with me in other threads and in pms.

Went to the beer garden after reading a few reports and wanted to chek out the talent. I like the relaxed open air feel. Funny there was really drunk farangs there who where killing me so funny.
