Massive inflation in Tijuana. I feel bad for the Mexicans here. If it was reversed I'd be really pissed. Honestly there's a lot of things in San Diego cheaper than Mexico. Car insurance. The food I eat. I went to eat at the bar in chiles and it was cheaper than it would be to eat the same thing in Mexico. Part of that's because Mexico doesn't have soda machines in most places so no free refills. I had a very nice sd hotel for 60 with taxes this week. Tijuana has a population boom from all. Areas, other countries and within Mexico. Also the open borders brings massive amount of people into Tijuana. They fill up restaurants hotels while they get their paperwork ready for asylum. I saw about 100 asylum guys at the trolley station tonight. They come through everyday because I see them everyday. I'm also seeing few Haitian men in Tijuana. They must of all been let into USA. They must miss Tijuana a little bit. I would estimate Tijuana receives 2000 to 4000 people a day who are here to enter USA. Not counting Mexicans here for the same purpose.

Should be interesting to see how the new 24 hour between covid test and US entry works out walking back from Tijuana. I'll be testing it out this coming week.

See the "Frequently Asked Questions" section of the link below where there is an answer to the question, "Does this Order apply to land border crossings or persons arriving at seaports?" As far as I can tell the new restrictions only apply to air travel. COVID must only spread when people travel by air (sarcasm).

So when I realized the price was quite low I pushed for more time so then the cost went up. If you booked a girl from HK for 45 minutes I would cost you a bit more as well.

I do think the PV prices were so crazy that I probably could have found cheaper away from the main tourist downtown area. There was a area about 15 minutes away where one of the main bars were and I be the girls were half the price. Looking forward to going back again to PV as there are direct flights from San Diego.

Your term "sex prison" really resonated with me. That is exactly what my life in Silicon Valley has been like.

So, I am planning to retiring in San Diego.

With easy access to Tijuana I don't consider San Diego to be a sex prison.
