Medellin Reports

I was having dinner alone at the balcony of a restaurant right next to the Park, and it was raining. 3 moderately dressed working girls passed by, and one of them even flip up her top to show me her tits. I was quite amused with the scene over there around the Park.

It's absolutely astounding. I'd heard so many good things about Medellin and all the Colombian girls from the states I've met have been beautiful that I assumed they'd be running rampant. I've been to the Parque about four nights since arriving in Medellin and there are very few females, period and no attractive ones who aren't working as bar / restaurant staff. There's so many men (thousands) that I can't even give a m / f percentage estimate, it's that far out of whack. However, this is not to say I haven't been having a great time as I met a hot, sweet babe at the go-to gringo place (Prefer not to mention, you all know it) who kept me busy for couple days. Now I need to go out and look for greener pastures. Any suggestions?

Its been pointed out here repeatedly that the short-term visitor is not in a good position to pick up local girls. Just because you have seen some Colombian girls that are hot, doesn't mean they are hot and total sluts, right? Who ever told you that you could pick up hot chicks just walking through a park?

BTW, I never made it down to the "parque", or Poblado for that matter, so I didn't have your problem. I stayed on La 70, strolled to Energia, or took the Metro into Centro and visited the Casas there. Only had to take two cab rides, and that was because I was lost. Adjust your expectations realistically and you should have a great time. Away from the places where the Gringos gather.

I think it was 50 k last time I was in town.

IMO it's not worth it. There's a significant risk that there will be only a couple homely girls hanging around.

I don't think I have read any reports of people actually picking up chicas in the parque lleras area. There was one post a page or two back which indicates the hookers in the parque lleras area are by the liquor store. I'm assuming that's the Exito Express but it may be another store. You can also try websites like [URL]http://co.mileroticos.com/[/URL].

I've yet to see any suggestions on pick up bars like the Veneto / Habanos circuit in Panama City where after about 7:30 pm prepago pussy starts flooding the area (see Panama City thread).

I'm assuming by greener pastures you mean other areas in Colombia? Cartagena seems to have a similar circuit as Panama City with day game at the beach or through tinder (see Combos recent posts), and the clock tower + LDV scene in the old city at night. I've also found a large amount of prepagos on tinder in Cartagena. In Medellin I only landed 3 prepagos through tinder.

In any case, next week I'm spending seven nights in Medellin and four nights in Cartagena. I almost wish I booked Cartagena for more nights now. I'll post a report when I get back.

It is not necessarily a balanced view, neither complete, of the place. You might see a bit more if you go back 100 pages on the RoD Section, but anyway take your time to roam around and do not overplan. You have just one dick anyway. There's more than enough to keep you busy for a few days.

[/QUOTE]My own experience is that there are a lot more 'scenes' in Medellin than can be counted on one hand. Cracking them is the challenge. Some seem limited as they are considered too expensive or too dangerous for most people. The casas are the easiest but you can waste a lot of time joining up dots on a map. Mansion gives a quick intro, even for experienced punters. But other guides that are here today are often gone tomorrow. I wasn't impressed with the strip club scene personally but you have to find your own predilections. A week is not much time to do it. Medellin is an amazing place but not an open book like say Rio. Relax and have fun. After dipping your toes, you'll probably find it's a city to return.

Once you enter in one, it's difficult you are so disgusted to be willing to leave. Then how many dots will you join, realistically? Is the walking distance your limiting factor?
