With Tinder Gold in Jakarta your phone will not stop chiming for one second, but that does not mean I recommend this route. It is just what I tried. The "free tonight" gave me plenty of options, but then you have to sift through those who are in a reasonable distance from your hotel, who are not obvious scams (deposit, uang for mamasan, uang keamanan. It takes time which I did not have much of. Just out of curiosity trying some other side of the game, I got things narrowed down to two 600 k options (asked around 1 jt upfront, but came to basically half price after one question).

A Second Look at The Pool Lounge, 1001 Hotel, Jakarta
After being flaked on by a sugar baby at the last minute, around 9 pm Thursday last week decided to revisit The Pool at the 1001 Hotel after my first visit left me a bit underwhelmed. It was quite quiet and didn't have much atmosphere. This time, however, it was a very different experience, and I quite enjoyed it.
First things first, the venue is impressive far more polished than Malio, which I've been to several times.
Over a 100 dressed in elegant evening dress seated across the room. There was a warm pool with private huts, ideal for relaxing in more intimate company definitely better than the pool at emporium!
The quality this time was significantly high, with many easily scoring 8 or above, and a few even 9. Prices comparable to Malio about 1. 6 million IDR before tips and there's also an international selection priced around 3. 3 million IDR had Vietnamese, Loas, Thai and Uzbeks masquerading as Russians. I chose a petite teen (19 as per Mami but in room she said she was 18 easily looked much younger) long hair and full lips and perky tits (name was Kila) on the mami's recommendation, had a drink with her in the lounge, and then we moved to a private room which is by far the best in comparison to other similar joints in Jakarta.
My total spend, including tips, was about 2. 5 million IDR including drinks, tips etc.
For sure, higher end compared to other places in Jakarta, but it feels like the most luxurious option in its category. If you're willing to spend, or want to impress / entertain clients it's worth a visit. I'll definitely be returning to 1001 but not anytime soon as theres just so much to explore here in Jakarta.
