Wish there were more protests.
Would the recent protests happening affect anything? Is it safe to be in the city with them going on?
Yep, the protests are making commuting in a Grab SOOOO much easier. Today, the roads were pretty clear at 7:30 pm when I returned from Classic to GI mall. Normally this journey would have taken 30 minutes, but today it was less than 15. No traffic at all. And even in the daytime, whilst I was in the gym, I noticed a lack of people there. I saw the same yesterday when there were protests too.
I've never seen Jakarta roads so commutable.
I think locals are staying at home "because of the protests" and the roads / malls are way less congested as a result. Best time to in Jakarta, as far as I'm concerned.
Oh, BTW, I banged a couple of new girls in Classic T2 day. Both gave great service. I've gotten the wattsapp of one of them, and will make a private arrangement with her to visit me in my appartment.
