You can do much better pulling a girl from the street for 20 K and paying 10 K for a room in and around the Church to the left of the Museum.
As far as take out they will probably want a lot for that and you can do much better on the street. I wouldn't waste my time at that dump it was disgusting when I went there a few weeks ago!

I will be in Medellin November 22nd and I'm new to this just wanting some advice. I will be staying at an airbnb and wondering if that's the best thing to do? What do small furnished apartments cost for one person in a safe areas?

The guys will probably come down a little on you for just asking the question outright as your first few posts, don't take it personally, these were the milk-distributors and hall monitors in high school.
First, pay the $20 (still 20?) and get a membership that includes private messaging. That way some of the members can refer you to their suggested favorites without redundant posts to the forum. Second, there are some options lower on this sub-forum that could use updating, but most are still somewhat relevant. You'll get some feedback from members that love or hate these places.
For hotels, my personal favorites are either Lloyd's on Calle 7 D, and Estellar Blue off Calle 1 sur. Both in great neighborhoods, close to good dining, and modern hotels with everything (hot water, internet, etc) functional. And reasonably priced to boot.
The mansion could be a fit. A be&be for like-minded guys. Good part is you'll be exposed to some cool guys, some who can help you along. Bad part is you'll be exposed to some creepy guys as well, and you're stuck with them until one of you checks out.
The apartment game can be interesting as well. More privacy, normally better facilities, but if it's your first trip, you could be stuck in a strange, unknown city with no idea how to fill your time. Since you're asking this question on a monger forum, I'm guessing you'll probably want to meet up with the fairer sex. You'll need some chica management skills if you choose this option.

Since no one knows your lifestyle or what you are looking for, it is impossible to say if airbnb is best.

Very few of us grow up knowing how to find, approach and negotiate with P4 P partners in a foreign country, while staying safe. It's easy to answer the where and how much questions, but much harder to teach someone how to know they are getting into a bad situation.
For anyone new to all of this, who doesn't want to read the forum, there's a simple answer; stay at the Mansion. If they don't want to stay at the Mansion, then RTFF.
Does he prefer big, surgically enhanced butts and boobs, or is he looking for something more natural? Older, younger, classier, sleazier, lighter, darker? PSE or GFE? Does he want 5 star accommodations or the cheapest option? Is he looking for other experiences besides the P4 P, or does he plan on just sleeping, eating and fucking for the duration? Would the scene at Fase 2 be more his style, or would a trip to Energy suit him? How are his Spanish skills? Is he okay with walking in and out of 6 Centro Casas looking for a bargain, or would he rather pay more for a guaranteed home run?
Each of us know what we like, we know what we want to do once we hit the ground. We've learned what is best for us. Some have been generous enough to share their experiences here. By reading the forum, the new guy gets an idea of his own comfort level. He gets an idea of where to stay, which places to visit, or who to call. He educates himself so he can ask specific questions.
In other words he makes it possible for someone on the forum to give him advice he can use, instead of blindly following someone else.
RTFF sounds rude, but it's the best possible advice. Learn from others mistakes. Learn what works for you. Find your comfort zone and enjoy your stay, instead of trying to follow someone else's path. Make your first trip a good one.

I think you will have a different take on this after you have spent the time writing at least a few hundred posts.
