However, I do cut some slack. If someone has a specific question, which I can answer or needs some general information, I'm happy to provide it, even if he could have found the answers by reading the forum.

But when someone comes along, says I don't know anything, teach me everything I need to know, then the only answer is RTFF. Should we spend 20 posts finding out his past experience, language skills, other international destinations, preferences, comfort level, confidence and personality, then take the time to put together a detailed, personalized course of instruction, complete with walking maps and a list of useful phrases?

At some point it's time to put on the big boy pants and find your own answers and the best way to do that is to RTFF.

And other sites like. The photos are fucking fake. Tried twice. The first one showed up 150 cheese burgers over what she had in the photos. She kept showing me photos of other people on her phone and claiming she was the girl in the photo. Yes multiple other people. Here I am sitting in a nice restaurant trying not to panic. She actually sucked great cock though.

The second one showed up about 300 cheeseburgers over what was in the photos. Did a terrible job. I even got a nice Italian take out for her.

Parque lleras has street walkers by the liquor store but they all look too young. I wouldn't touch them.

You did countless hours of bullshit so-called internet preparation (Tinder, lying to hoes, etc) to have a shitty time? Better look at the man in the mirror. Maybe they are seeing something in you that you don't know they are seeing. Why would you bring a chick back without getting a price first? Then give her 50 fucking K to leave? You can get a session downtown for less than that. Cartagena is way more expensive than Medellin. Prepare yourself for even more of a shit show if you saw Medellin that way.

I also tend to overthink my trips (I started planning for my April trip in October). Fortunately, someone gave me some good advice a while back. Don't reinvent the wheel.

Each mongering spot has its own style. You've talked a lot about Panama City, and what worked there, but each place is different and some places are better suited for your preferred style (try out a few, then wife up for the remainder). Some mediums are also better than others.

As you stated in one post, Medellin is a casa / strip club / massage places. Energy, New Life, Fase Dos, San Diego, Luna Lunera, Abydos are a few of the more highly recommended spots. If you're going with the city mongering scene, one of those probably should be on the schedule.

If you're going for the 4 or 5 days wife up, then some of the Sugar daddy / baby sites are probably the best bet. Mileroticos is Colombia's Backpage. It's the cheapest advertising option, and is frequented by the low end of the profession. It's possible to find a diamond, but you're going to sift through a bunch of crap to find her. Tinder and Colombian Cupid are options, but you need to work them. Many are looking for a real relationship. Others are looking for a sucker. Somewhere in the middle are a handful who are ready for an adventure while supplementing their income.

Both Seeking Arrangements and What's Your Price have active members in Medellin. It's not going to be cheap, but if you're more interested in a longer period with one woman, that's probably the best place to start.

The best advice I can offer is to figure out the city scene before you go and either stay within the scene or pick a city that is more your style. Look at the rave reviews. Those are the places to go. Once you've had a few good experiences, if you feel like being more adventurous, go for it. You can always go back if you don't find what you're looking for.

Here's hoping Cartagena works out better for you.

[/QUOTE]Yes, you are spot on. I was expecting another Panama City. I thought I would find a good pick up bar in Parque Lleras like Habanos in Panama City. Looks like LDV in Cartagena will be more to my liking.

I did not try strip clubs or any online hookups other than tinder. One person I met here was having great success with facebook but I am still looking to avoid that.

Medellin is a wonderful city. The people are warm and welcoming. Other than a few touts and cabs trying to scam me I have not met any assholes.

I did meet two girls whom I think fall in the middle of the prepago to non-pro spectrum. We had a nice dinner which they liked, got Bachata lessons back at my place, and then took me to Las Palmas which I did not know ever existed.

One mentioned she could come see me in Caratgena but I am on the fence on that one. They also want to introduce me to more of their friends and want me to bring friends with me.

I have to agree. A lot of guys come down here having over planned and over invested a lot of energy into unknowns. I did it too. It's a swing reaction. Overcompensating for being starved and not wanting to waste a moment while here on the ground. Guys self sabotage by simply being too hungry and awkwardly fucking up the whole vibe with a chica who might normally be very cool.

Your plan should be.

Go to a casa first. The best way to quickly clear your heads! Plenty of choices. Very economical. Disappointment factor is low although you may spend a few hours walking around until you find someone you like. (far less than the hours and hours of chatting and self delusion) But you will put yourself at ease and in a clearer mindset for other adventures.

Set up dates with vetted chicas. Plenty of solid reviews here. Find one who catches your eye and try to be clear about what you want to do with her. You will be surprised how receptive and accommodating the girls can be. Do not fool yourself that you are tapping into some undiscovered diamond mine. None of them are new to the scene. You are the one who is new.

Facebook: If you want to save yourself hours of online chatting, hoping for an unknown to show, $150 plus taxi money, work smart and set up multiple coffee / lunch dates with girls at a nearby bar or coffee shop. Double book because you know flake factor is high! Tell them you are very busy or have a commitment later that day, so if they are going to be late, you cannot wait. You can make your negotiations prior but the worst case if they show up 100 cheeseburgers more than their photos LOL, you give them cab money if you don't see sparks. Best case, take them back to your place and romparound for hours.

And of course, there are plenty of guys down here like myself with a lot of experience, who like to hang out, check out places you might not want to go alone and in a friendly way can help you avoid a lot of frustration and keep your train on its tracks chugging along smoothly. Kind of like a personal trainer at your gym. You just get a lot more out of your time.

I was drunk and thought at worset she would ask for 250 k. When I said shit show I just meant my experience as a whole. Reality really didn't meet expectations.

Panama City is so different. Boring and hot during the day but amazing at night. Looking for an alternative in Cartagena to it. Will post my experience of it in the other thread.

They mostly look the same young with tight jeans and a tank top.

I recall seeing two smoking chicas sitting on the bench across from Mi Habana. Smoking hot and wearing tank tops. A car stopped and the guy called a vendor the red uniform. Is there any mongering activity during the Christmas to New Year Week in Medellin? Or is it a total shutdown during this week? Anyone know of any clubs or casas or other mongering spots that remain open during this week? Will hotel Mansion be open and have any girls during this Week?

I am assuming Dec. 24 and 25 will probably be a total shutdown. But do some places open from Dec. 26?
