Q to all: Safe sex concerns aside, where and how is the best approach to obtain BBFS?

One good suggestion I heard is take the battery out of the camera and hide it in your checked baggage and claim the battery is lost/stolen, and thus you cannot power up your camera.
Though the best solution for me I suppose is to backup all my vids/photos to my laptop, back in the days of mini-dvs you can just keep the dv tapes separate. Now with those HDD drive camera the procedure is much more painful.
