Or should I take cash in Reals with me?[/QUOTE]For personal reasons I prefer to pay the garota using credit card. Not debit. Most bros do cash which is great an anonymous. I do carry a debit card that reimburses ATM fees, but I only use it as a backup.

At Scandallo and Gauguin, I've been able to pay the club by credit card for both the room and the garota. The club pays the garota on my behalf. At Gauguin, I was told they usually pay the girls a day or two later after they fill out some paperwork. 😂.

Both clubs charge a pretty generous fee for the privilege of using a credit card, but the upside is that my international credit cards have almost always gone through without any issues.

If you want to pay the garota directly by card, it can work if she (or a friend) has Mercado Pago, InfinitePay, [URL]JIM.com[/URL] Tap to Pay, or can send you a Mercado Pago payment link. I always take a photo of the successful payment screen and ask her to send me a screenshot from her side as well. It avoids any confusion later.

Before the session, I'm always upfront that I'll be paying by credit card so we can figure out the best payment method ahead of time.

Casarão has been much less reliable. Recently, Tap to Pay on the garota's phone has worked about 60% of the time. The other 40%, none of my cards would process and I had to fall back to cash. I suspect the internet / data connection inside Casarão is part of the problem.

Ironically, I've paid Casarão itself by credit card with no issues when checking out and returning the wristband. Then I walk next door to the hotel to pay the garota with the exact same card, and suddenly it won't work. It's frustrating. I've suggested management have two or three different payment processors available for international credit cards instead of relying on a single system.

One thing to be aware of: your credit card statement will usually show whatever business name the garota uses with [URL]JIM.com[/URL] or her payment processor. It might be her name, a beauty salon, or some other small business. I once saw what looked like an automotive repair business on my statement and thought my card had been compromised. Turns out it was just the payment processor she was using. That definitely got my attention.

The overwhelming majority of us prefer to pay with cash. It's less expensive to pay with cash due to no extra fees. In addition, the girls most definitely like to be paid with cash because they get their money right then and there. Tricking and hooring has always been mostly a "cash and carry" business, and that won't be changing anytime soon. I have plenty of other ways to earn big points and miles from credit card expenditures, including times 4 for hotel stays and times 3 for restaurant meals. Paying tutes on credit would only get me one point per dollar spent plus add on the fees per transaction. Not the best way to earn points and miles LOL!

The most complete map of SP places with prices, websites, discounts, even links to uber! Basically gpguia in map form. Focused mostly on clinicas but has boates also. It's built for the locals. Some prices are out of date IE Scandallo. Not sure this is a good thing, makes it too easy.

I chose to use the train that connects the airport right to the SP Metro system without any extra fare charges since it's all part of the same transit system so it's dirt cheap. I didn't want the potential of being stuck in traffic.

Then on the ride into town, I could not help but notice how professional my lady cab driver was. So, the whole experience was an easy, fast connection, combined with a chauffeur-like drive. It took about an hour in steady rain starting around 6:30 am. The Hyatt welcomed me back with flying colors. They gave me an upgraded King room on a high floor for my immediate access.

I've only ever used uber, 99 (didi's Brazil affiliate), and indrive for GRU airport transfers to Moema. I usually arrive at the morning rush hour so the ride lasts 90 minutes or more. Uber charges US $20 to US $25,99 charges US $15 to US $20. Indrive is the cheapest at US $7 to US $10. I had no idea the taxis cost that much. I'm going to continue to avoid them.

I plan to arrive September 26 on Saturday 8 AM morning and stay till the next Saturday afternoon (7 nights).

Which days are best to go to Scandallo, Gauguin, & Casarao.

I also might hit some high end Clinicas? Any recommendations?
