I just got back from a week and a half in Cartagena, Colombia. I used "Girlfriend 4 a Week" to supply my sex/travel partner. I know most of the action on this board is for Mongerers who like to find the best girls for the best deals and don't use agencies. To pick up girls in Cartagena you have to either go for street girls or hang out at nightclubs or stripclubs. Which to me is a collosal waste of time. Also these girls normally think in terms of hours or over night, or maybe they aren't professionals at all.

When we couldn't find the hotel van I gave her the phone number and she called the hotel to find out where the van was. I don't speak Spanish and I'd never been to Cartagena before. Cartagena is a major tourist destination but not for English speakers.

Having someone who could help me with my Spanish pronunciation, "Quanto? " "He wants to know how much the taxi fair is going to be before you go any further" was invaluable. And having her explain to the waiter who felt my refusal to order wine or a mixed drink with dinner was an insult to his manhood that I was Diabetic and would just order water saved a lot of frustration.

But what I really enjoyed was watching her walk through the room, naked, three or more times a day. I liked that she was willing to wear a sheer Malibu Strings bikini in public, in fact she loved every thing I gave her to wear, even when the blouse kept slipping and revealing her nipple to the public. A week of watching other men stare at her and envy me was pretty great too. (At the beach one day I watched a guy track her with his still camera as she emerged from the ocean in a yellow bikini that put Halle Berry to shame. He kept taking pictures of her even after his girlfriend returned.) And she didn't take offense when I said I wanted to check out a strip club/brothel. In fact she had such a good time the other guys were watching her more than the strippers. A more experienced Colombia traveler and Spanish speaker could find the same fun for much less, however, seems that you totally enjoyed your time, so for you it was money well spent for great memories.

Sure, I may be the unluckiest guy on earth, but I find that in Colombia if you want to do a regular young girl it takes time, and I don't have that if I am in each city 4-5 days. Sure, there are 5 million hookers here, so for those that are satisfied with doing prepagos Colombia is probably a nice place.

Now take it easy. You should be happy Colombia is not for everyone, so that it doesn't turn into Pattaya. Me, I think Colombia is the dullest place south of Mexico to look for sex.

At first you posted of your experience with the pros, and that you couldn't find any to your liking.

Then you posted that you were really interested in the non-pros only and that anybody could get a pro, but you wanted the beautiful, young non pros.

OK great, and I agree that if it's the beautiful non pro you're looking for, it may just take more than 4-5 days to get them to dig ya and sleep with ya.

Obviously you have to treat the non-pros differently than the pros.

I personally take it very slow with the non-pros. I know some guys like the quick kill, but I don't.

I love to have fun with 'them, charm them, be romantic and cool, take my time, no rush.
