Best option?
I am thinking about a trip to Sosua next week. My problem is that my airline ( Spirit ) doesn't go to POP. So if I fly into Santiago I would arrive very early in the morning and it would be a long wait for the bus to Sosua. How much would a taxi cost from the Santiago airport to Sosua? For about $200 more I could fly into POP on AA airlines. If I did that how much is a taxi to Sosua from there? Also I live closer to Atlantic City airport then the Philly connection on AA Airlines.
Sorry for the most likely pain in the ass question, but if I pull the trigger on this trip then trip reports will follow.
For the guys who know me they are most likely saying how come no Colombia. The simple answer to that is I like to swim in great clean water and MDE and CTG do not offer that.
Thanks in advance for any input.

Thanks in advance for any input.
I was quoted 1700 pesos (one way) last week to go to POP from Santiago. I was also quoted 5000 pesos by another taxista 5 minutes later. Of course I told the second guy he was a ladrone. Hope this helps. I have a number of a taxi driver that I am sure will be reasonable and certainly reliable and has a brand new van if you need his number, just make sure you tell him how much you are willing to pay, don't let any of these guys quote you.

You don't say what time you arrive in Santiago but the first bus for Sosua leaves at 6 am and it will cost you about $30 (100 pesos). I don't know how much a taxi would cost you from the airport to Caribe tours bus depot but $20 should cover it. So you would be $150 better off. Enough for your first TLN and a few beers. I wouldn't entertain a taxi to Sosua myself but there are a few guys who have done it. (Check past reports, maybe the price is mentioned)

How far is Newark Airport (EWR) from you? Continental has early morning non stop flights to POP.

Not bad

I live in Southern New Jersey which is about 2 hours from EWR. The price is cheaper than AA from philly, and the good part as you mentioned is the non stop flight from EWR. All food for thought. thanks

You can't beat a non stop flight........... The Continental flights to the DR leave around 7ish in the morning. Just make sure to get to EWR at least two hours or more before your flight. There are several off airport parking lots with free shuttle.
I fly out of EWR all the time and with the non stop flight I am sipping my first Presidente in the DR around noon time.
Continental only has service to POP, SDQ, and Punta Cana (which I know you are not interested in). Continental stopped STI flights a little over a year ago.

In addition, JetBlue offers non-stop flights from JFK to POP, and the first flight leaves around 6:30 A.M. if I remember correctly. This absolutely beats changing planes anywhere, especially returning through MIA.

Very Horney
Thanks to BG Ribs, Roger Dodger 007, and Professer 1 for your timely response to my questions about the best way to get to Sosua from Southern New Jersey.
I already have a trip booked to Nicaraqua for Nov. 2nd for two weeks, but I do not think I can hold out that long. It seems to me that after about seven days after I get home from a excursion ( just returned from MDE ) I am chomping at the bit for more action. I wonder if the 7 days has someting to do with the 7 day cycle that women go thru each month? No matter that is their problem and my problem is I am stuck here in the good ole USA with zero chance of getting some fine and cheap pussy. Just the thought of me walking into Classico's and have fine women fighting over me is heaven. Thank god I'm retired and only need to hit the trigger on my credit card to find relief.
BTW if I see one of you guys in Country the first round is on me.

Dominicans usually go home on the holidays, christmas and easter. The On season is December thru March, and a lot of europeans show up later in summer but generally the off season is spring and summer through hurricane season which lasts thru november. If you just want to miss dominicans going home any time that's not near a holiday would be fine.
Right now it's very slow, no crowds, cheap chicas, and on the north coast there is rarely an issue with hurricanes.

School
Airfare prices are usually higher when public schools in the states have vacation. Christmas vacation, Easter Vacation and Summer Vacation (July and August).
Mid September through mid November is usually very cheap for airfare and hotels in DR.

Question
Anyone have any leg pain after using Cialis. I don't use it often but the last night I was in DR I went to a Cabana with my regular Novia and wanted to have a good long time. Popped a Cialis and for 2 days I had muscle pain in my thighs. I also find la pela gives me heartburn.
Just questioning.

Here are the most common side effects of Tadalafil aka Cialis:
* Headache -- up to 15 percent of people
* Facial flushing -- up to 3 percent of people
* Indigestion, known as dyspepsia -- up to 10 percent of people
* Back pain -- up to 6 percent of people
* Nasal congestion -- up to 3 percent of people
* Muscle pain (known as myalgia) -- up to 4 percent of people
* Pain in the arms or legs -- up to 3 percent of people.
I get the back pain and the heartburn, but I think the heartburn is more because of the rum, now I pop a Prevacid which knocks out the heartburn and a aspirin if my back really hurts.. But all worth the Peter North wood! lol

Cialis is best?
MiamiHeatLuver:
When you use Tadalafil aka Cialis is it still hard or does it go soft after the lovemaking? I ask because I just tried 50mg of Viagra and it didn't do much at all. I got hard (not rocket hard but doable) but it sorta went limp after a very short while. I guess I'm looking for something that will enable me to stay hard even after climax. Any ideas?
