Mongering in Digha and nearby areas is not easy but not difficult too. There are some independent ones but you need to have right contacts. Brokers can be found as some hotel staff or in some lonely areas where they will approach you when you look here and there.

This is little off-topic. Several years ago, a book was published in the Calcutta Book Fair and it was a bengali guide book on Sonagachhi, the famous Red Light Area in Kolkata. The name of the book was 'Sonagachhir Bhoogol' or 'The Geography of Sonagachhi'. It was reported in the newspaper that the books were sold out within a few hours. If someone has a copy of it, please share the scanned copy. I find it really interesting.
