I'm thinking about taking PrEP for my next trip to Brazil. Does anyone know if I should get it in the states or buy it in SP?
I've never taken it, dunno how much it costs in USA vs Brazil.
I do have a future ex who is willing to do bareback. I will test her, but just in case haha.

And Trojan22 HIV is not "men only" the numbers in several countries have been increasing on straight population and in Brazil specifically it has increased by 20% since 2010.

Getting it for free at a govt clinic might be harder for a foreigner. Just walk up to any pharmacy and ask for BiNav. If that pharmacy doesn't have it, they will tell you which one has stock nearby and then go there and get it. If you have a cpf, it is cheaper but I don't know by how much. I will report back after my August trip.

You have to get theirs WhatsApp and make a deal with them after their shift. Can do this with any Clínica girl. Most will gladly spend the night or day with you instead of making 100-200 are per session in the Clínica.

F.[/QUOTE]Thank you again, I source a lot of stuff from Brazil pharmacies, but my understanding from reading the "bula" was that PreP like Truvada in Brazil needed a valid Braziilian prescription, that is why I said that as a foreiner seemed difficult.
I have stock bought in EU will take it with me and will try and see if pharmacy in Brazil does not ask for Brazillian doctor valid prescriprion like the package leaflet I read states.

[/QUOTE]Good point. I should have looked more closely at the regulations. Apparently foreign prescriptions won't work, but at a cta clinic, you show your passport and can get prep for free, but you need to qualify based on your risk. Not sure if they prescribe & give doses, or just the doses.

Has anyone tried a Scandallo Sunday yet? I am debating between making a visit tonight or going with the gold standard that is Casarao.
The wrinkle is that Casarao Sundays have traditionally been great for me because I can sometimes pick up a Scandallo girl who stopped in on her day off. If Scandallo is open, that math probably doesn't hold.
