Many tourists go to the Bigger bars like Baccarat, SuzieW, Shark. Completely oblivious to what is happening in the smaller seedier bars like JJ, Fannies, Toy, Moonshine and even Afterschool's Naughty Boy Corner.

I remember making a full report on these bars but can't be bothered to post a link since the forum is acting weird on search and links these days.

Can't remember the name of the bar but it was the last bar which is on the left side of the soi. It was a strange but nice experience. The girls were not especially good looking but very doable. The one that latched onto me was really into DFK while we were sitting outside where they have tables and chairs set up. Brought me upstairs for a little bump and grind on a mattress on the floor (probably her bed). She was really into it in a slutty way. No shower available but you could sluice yourself down in the toilet. Reminded me of a girl during my late teenage years who would take you upstairs during a party for some no-commitment sex, if you played your cards right. I learned that you did not have to wait for parties but could show up at her house in the afternoon when her mother was at work.

Can't remember what the cost was but I remember thinking that it was cheap for Bangkok. Probably in the region of 1, 000. 1500 baht, if memory serves me right. Plus some lady drinks which were not especially expensive either.

I still write reviews and post usefull stuff once in a while. Many guys want to come here and always get the latest prices an dbest bars and best girls. Understood, many guys have 1 fuck in BKK adn want to make the most of it, but can't the same Newbies Read a couple pages before asking? Many guys start by saying?"Sorry, I have no time to read back but can you tell me blah blah blah" if these guys (who are here for free by the way) can't be bothered to invest a little time to search, why am I going to help them when I already wrote the information a couple pages back? Does that mean the time it took me to write that is less valuable than the time these Freeloaders have to search?

In all fairness, a lot also has to do with the poor Thread system. Very difficult to figure out the best thread to post or search for info.

I found myself back at Som's Haven the other evening. I had some time between appointments and just wanted something quick. Arrived and sat in the lobby. There was a receptionist and someone that seemed like a manager. There was also some German / European guy that was all lovey dovey with a crying worker. He was trying to cheer her up and brought her some gift. I'm asked if I could wait for a few mins. I sit down and wait. And wait. And wait. The manager some over and chats with me and I inquire as to her availability. She says she has to go out somewhere for a booking in 30 mins. I was a bit annoyed and ready to go. A customer comes down with his gal and grabs a drink and sits with the gal. I figure she's done and will soon be direct to me. Same girl as last time so I figured it will be good. His buddy comes down and his girl sits with him. They all sit around drinking and chatting. I thought this was a BJ bar, not a hostess lounge. Anyway, I get up and say bye and the manager thanks me for coming and asks that I come back. She says they don't have enough staff. Now, why would I go back to a place with no staff? Same 3 girls as last time?

I never thought to ask as I recently got kicked out of a Soi 4 bar by enticing a girl into the hong nam to show me her ass before paying bar. Short sighted by the mamasan. Used to be you could do just about anything in these places. I guess Soi 4 is too upscale. JJ might be worth a look. I thought (for my tastes) Twins had a couple of good looking women. I must have missed the "Siam" word in the name that Western refers to.

What does that achieve? Are people that fucking lonely when they come to Thailand that they have to chat up hookers to pass time?

Second, it looks like the place has absolutely have no clue how to manage a business. When I read your story I immediately thought about MArc from EC (that's Eden Club for the newbies). He was always very straight forward: EC is not a bar, you can't sit and sip your beer unless it's your first time and you need to be explained how the place works. That is a well oiled business. Come in, pick your girls, have fun and leave happpy.

I would understand having a conversation with a girl BEFORE the deed as one may want to test the chemistry, but at the BJ Bar? And I am sure the girls only think about one thing: go back in the Rotation or grab a bite of som tam.

I had a pretty good session at Natarree again, somehow I like the happy vibe of the place and the papasan seems really cool. Went to check out Amsterdam later as it was suggested it is similar to Utopia less the farang barfine. Maybe it was late (coming up on 11PM) I didn't think the selection was great. Also found it hard having to walk up to the stage to get closer look at the girls.

Then on to Soi 11 Sukhumvit, the Alot hotel area clubs Levels, Bed Supper, Oskar restaurant. All alive and happening with good local talent. I was told the afterhours club is called Spash or something similar. There are several in the same area. I didn't go as it was getting late and had to be up early to catch a flight next day.

Regarding somebody's mention it is hard to find relevant info sometimes, I agree, there are a lot of discussion about other things like economy etc etc so need to spend long time reading many pages to get an idea what's the situation like in a particular town / country

I am not sure many here will remember the GARDEN SPA, Sauna and Massage place at Washington Square (has been closed for a long time now). There was no Shower in the rooms and one girl I took for VIP TTM (means TTM in a private room with a bed and a TV) had a strong Fishy smell "down there". Except this girl's fish had died long ago and she probably left it inside to rot. The smell was almost so strong I was going to puke. The Thai masseuse (young, slim and not bad looking) seemed completely oblivious to the smell (could it be that she sniffs so many time on these inhalers that she lost every sense of smell?).

These small places make it difficult for girls to keep a minimum of Hygiene.

Having said that, Girls at SOL are doing a good job at washing themselves though as I had very clean pussies there.

A few after hours clubs are Mixx at the Intercontinental, Insomnia on Sukhumvit 12 (I think it is called Infinity now) , Climax and Bash on Sukhumvit 11.

Some have strong stench. Also could be a dose of the clap. Unlikely to be just a simple hygene issue.
