I am a guy who stays in nana hotel in bkk when I go there, so I think Classic would be a good option for me. , Seniors please suggest.

I also want to stay near pool1001 as for me I would prefer 7-10 rating girls compared to lesser, Do suggest if I need to shift or a bike taxi should work as I see classic is way far from pool1001.

The'prima hotel is a decent chain hotel, see if they have offers and it's much better than Redstar like $18-25 but normally more.

I stayed at the Grand G7 Pasar Baru (previously it was a Fave Hotel) for six days during my recent visit. It is not a five-star hotel but about 3.5-star solid business class hotel, checks off all the criteria for an affordable rate hotel at $35 a night. It is just a 10-minute walk to Classic and MRT, 5-minute walk to Pasar Baru mall, a large swimming pool on the rooftop, decent buffet breakfast, bar and restaurant, effective AC both in rooms and hallways, and reasonably sized rooms with a refrigerator and hair dryer, clean bathrooms, Lawson convenience store at the basement, Bluebird taxis waiting on the parking garage, ATMs nearby. The only downside is the small desk, which makes working comfortably on my laptop challenging.

Classic Spa is in the basement of Classic Hotel with girls on Floors 3 and 5 of the same building.

Stayed this hotel for 5 days till I left to Bandung and its was perfect for budget travel like me. Its just 1 minute walk from travel hotel. The room rates are 360 k for deluxe room and 300 k for standart room with breakfast included. At hotel but if you book at agoda its becomes much cheaper like between 260-280 k with all cashback agoda giving later. I stayed at deluxe on 5 floor and it was quiet at night for sleeping even daytime no sounds was coming from street. Hotel was quiet has aircon, safe, hot water, tv with 30 local channels, stable wifi but not so fast just 8 mb. Breakfast was good also everyday new buffet and can put as many food as I like. Also has rooftop bar which open from evenings till 23.00 pm with cheap beers a small bintang 35 k and nice cheap food for around 40 k per dish! And its very girlfriendly I bring 3 diffrent girls for short time and for all night and never any questions been asked or they stop the girl for check ID or something! Enjoy my stay here.

Does anyone have info on "Aksana Residence"? It is located in North Jakarta Jl. Cempaka Putih Tengah XVII. Is it a good place to stay? The price seems great but I don't know if they have any problem if you bring girls to the room.

When I went there for the first time my impression was that it was a bit rough round the edges, the only bad thing is that I perhaps wouldn't take a date back there. And the sign at reception which might put people off staying, it read "No Durians & No Guns" LOL.

If you shop around the'Prima is just 20% more expensive than Redstar and a very nice hotel for the price, a bathroom with mosaic coloured tiles from what I remember. Plus very clean, orderly but no breakfast room.

Hello, can anyone recommend a nice hotel in central Jakarta (near malls), fairly a new property please. I stayed at Movenpick in Pecenongan last time, hotel is very nice but is poorly located for my taste. Looking for a mid range to high budget property and of course green for overnight guests stay.

Are you talking of Grand Mercure Kemayoran, then it won't work as location is off, same with harmoni. I am looking at Central (central to south) near malls somewhere around grand hyatt or north of it towards central.

Pullman, Park Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental, Pan Pacific.
All are 5 Star Hotels with Average room rate higher than USD 200.

If you can spend USD 250++, the Intercontinental (Pondok Indah) is highly recommended.

Your Budget may limit your choice.

So deciding between pullman and sari pacific, location for both is good but rating less than 8 on 10 so lets see.

Can someone recommend which one to choose and also confirm if both are green for overnight guests.

A Moevenpick hotel was mentioned as a good nearby alternative to Holiday Inn Gajah Mada. However, on Google Maps I see both hotels 3.2 km apart. "Hotel Classic" seems to be very close to Moevenpick though. I don't remember what Holiday Inn Gajah Mada was supposed to be close to? Was it Emporium? Not possible, that's even closer to Moevenpick than Classic.

Moevenpick seems to be a very good choice from the point of view of location alone.

I assume Holiday Inn was better located for the Lokasari and Mangga Besar Area. However that area is not the epicenter of Jakarta nightlife anymore.

[/QUOTE]Movenpick would be a 10 minute walk to Classic, and I guess less than a minute to Emporivum. It's probably the nicest hotel within walking distance of Classic and Emporivum, though I have not yet stayed there myself.
