Or is it a bad idea to plan on staying the night at campo by paying extra to stay in one of the girl's rooms?

I would not stay around Campo either since there is nothing to see or do except f*cking. Go there for what you need to do, and then enjoy what Punda and Otrobanda has to offer. It is a 10-15 minute drive. You can get some great seafood on Curacao for example in Fishalicious (Loostraat 1, Willemstad, tel 0059994618844) and the atmosphere is nice. Rent a car. It is cheap, around 40 USD a day for a small car including taxes, and can take you to paradise beaches where you will be alone with your girl. You can Google it or just walk out from the airport to the left and up the hill, and you will see car rental. I used carvahome. Com once and they where OK. There is also a bus that can take you to Willemstad. North of the island is beautiful and the traffic is very easy to handle so no need to be afraid to drive. During one visit I rented a house in Pueblo 13 that I found on Tripadvisor and it was great to have a private pool for me and the girl. Campo is convenient but Curacao has more than Campo to offer.

Floris, Hilton and Marriott are ones I have stayed at in the past. All good. The girls live in these cramped rooms. Bad idea. Find a hotel and you'll be much happier.

If you take the girl out of Campo between 06. 00 and 18. 00 there is no fine / multa. That means that you only pay the girl. It is just too easy to get new and great women; no need for it. Let me give you an idea: In Campo, just ask the women for their nr. ("regalame tu nr, porfa"). They are happy to get more steady clients and will come to you if you pay. Of course. If you pick them up yourself, it is cheaper. Max 200 Naf. (I. E. 120 USD) for a whole day if you are nice with them.

I am in Curacao for a couple of days, and I went to Campo Alegre last night. I first came to Campo about four years ago, and I have to say, I was a little disappointed the second time around. I have fond memories of Campo, since it was here that I first took 'the plunge' into the hobby. For gun-shy noobs, I still recommend it. It is still affordable. Most companions ask for 50 florin, which is about $30. The facility, a former military barracks, is safe and discreet. The girls are vetted (health-wise). There is an indoor and outdoor bar and common area and patio, where people can drink and interact. There is even a little restaurant on the side. You can definitely hang out there. It doesn't feel seedy, which is more than I can say about other places in the world that I have been.

But I guess, as they say, you can never go back. The night started off badly, as there is some construction on the main road on the way to airport, and some forced detours. I spent about ½ an hour driving around lost. When I did get there, the neon sign, which had been such a welcoming sight in the past (those who have been there know what I mean) , was dark. But the main downer, to echo the sentiments of a recent post, is that that the girls have gotten bigger, and generally, less attractive. The whole 'bubble butt' look is hard to get right. Ideally, you want a big butt and chest, but relatively thinner waist and legs. Of course, I nice Latina face is a cherry on top. There were one or two girls who came close to pulling it off, but for the most part, they are just heavier, and sometimes downright fat. And not as pretty. The overall quality of girls has definitely gone down. I spent time with one girl; I think her name was Camilla, who was very unremarkable. Definitely avoid.

Another change is that Campo appears to be going mainstream. There were a lot of tourist couples there. You know. Those yuppie couples looking for a touch of excitement. To walk on the wild side. A drunk blond thirty-something woman screaming as the stripper dry humps her. I am sure that you too have seen it before. I never understood their mentality. There are swingers clubs and Hedonism II for people like that. They totally kill the vibe of the place. It felt like an overrun strip club. Places like Campo are a Man's playground, and should stay that way.

Oh well. At least the barbecue chicken plate I had before I left was surprisingly good. Will head back tonight to give it another chance. It was a long flight, and I had been up since very early that morning on business. Maybe I was just tired and grumpy. Here's hoping that some classics endure the test of time.
